how often do you get mistaken for opposite sex? how old are you? (not merely on forums)

People always act shocked when a dude on the Internet is tall. Why is this?
He didn't add a weight, he could be a great big fat person. Every tall dude shouldn't be considered to be claiming he's a Spartan warrior.

No, my sex is obvious due to yuge bazongas and long hair and height and shoe size and hand size and finger length and shoulders and hips and set of face and eyes and voice and mannerisms. (I'M UGLY, RELAX).

Apparently when I am genuinely panicking I will talk higher pitched and a 911 operator called me ma'am as a result. Didn't bother correcting her since there was a family member actively seizing in front of me, but I still make fun of myself using that experience, to this day.

I don't think it counts the same when it's cold and you're wearing layers, a heavy coat and hat. I'm middle-aged and not particularly tall but every year when I'm out shoveling snow, some new renter across the street comes by, assumes I'm a dude and asks if he can borrow my shovel.

Maybe it's just the shovel. Pooners should try that.
