Def worth looking at and echoing some of comments by a few of us in here that the party is just getting started with gas prices. Note: article behind a paywall. Dropping in one interesting image but there's a few more on the article.

I'll say again: the fact that oil is not at $!50 tells you everything you need to know about the global economy.

The IDF states that 16 aircraft were struck and all belonged to Iran's Qods force and used to transport weapons to Hezbollah.

Overnight, the Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF intelligence, completed a broad wave of strikes across Tehran and on military infrastructure located at the "Merabad Airport"in Tehran.

“Mehrabad Airport” was used by the Quds Force of the IRGC and served as a central hub for arming and funding the regime’s terrorist proxies in the Middle East. Aircraft loaded with weapons and cash took off from the airport numerous times and landed across the region for the use of the Iranian terror regime’s proxies.

In the strike, 16 aircraft of the “Quds Force” unit of the IRGC were precisely dismantled. These aircraft were transferring weapons to Hezbollah as part of the regime’s effort to arm the terrorist organization, which serves as its main terrorist proxy.

Also targeted were several Iranian fighter jets that posed a threat to Israeli Air Force aircraft operating in Iranian airspace.

Prior to the strikes, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.

The strike on the military infrastructure at the airport not only disrupts the regime’s ability to arm Iran, but also terror proxies throughout the Middle East. The IDF continues to degrade military infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime across Iran.

Anyone have a real clue to what the truth is in this war? The pro iran side is saying that USA and Israel are finished and over and its Joever and the other side is saying how successful it is whats the actual facts here?
Is Iran running out of stockpile or is the US and its allies running out first?
Because the fog of war is thick and the propaganda is even thicker and worse than Ukraine and its only been a week in.

Obviously a 20mm you'd reserve for larger drones. A Shahed is $20k to $50k (closer to $200k for the export versions), Bayraktar something like $1-5 million. I'd say a burst-fired M61 with computer-assisted aiming would probably stay pretty balanced in costs.

Smaller, cheaper drones you spin up the 50cal minigun instead.

Iran's only real strategy is to try to hold the Strait. Hoping to pressure America into ending the war by driving up global oil prices is the only play they have since they're so militarily outmatched.
As soon as they lose control of the Strait, they lose their single bargaining chip.

You do realize that unlike Russia there are requirements for the notifications of the family members of US servive members when they are killed, seriously wounded, or missing in action? That the US can't just "vanish" dead service members to sell the fiction of the new Patriotic War going just as planned after the 4th year by burying them in mass grave?
And you do realize that the US uses radars that are separate from the command installation or vehicle precisely to protect crews from getting ACK'd by radiation-seeking munitions, unlike the soviet-model S-X00 series?

Anyway, you can ask your mom how many guys she fucked last night and that should give you a vague guestimate of the # of personnel at the installation.
