The brief moment of shock, awe, and naive hope of a swift conclusion has worn off and now I'm just left wondering how the purportedly anti-war Trump fanboys are managing to cope with the prospect of more destabilizing involvement in the Middle East.

They love the liberal Muslims in the middle east and are ready to die for them i guess.

They're full on deluding themselves into thinking it's a righteous cause and that somehow the tiny Christian minority is gonna lead the new government.

Expecting Trump’s devotees to have any thought independent from the retard maga media sludge they consume is pretty optimistic.

They’ll declare total Epstein victory no matter what the outcome is and go back to crying about black crime rates and advertisements with brown people in them.

Based on how it's gone so far I think we're just gonna keep killing leadership until it's only Mossad agents left, then we just hope Iranians don't notice.

People thinking the Kurds or Christians or Azeris are going to take over Tehran are delusional.

At this point, the logical thing to do is go all-in with boots on the ground, ready to slay the beast. But I doubt the Republicans will go that far.

The tangerine troon and his cabinet apparently did not expect war in the middle East to raise gas prices.

President Donald Trump’s chief of staff, Susie Wiles, is telling his advisers to bring ideas to the Oval Office to lower gasoline prices in the wake of the U.S. attack on Iran, according to two energy industry executives familiar with the conversations.

The White House is “looking under every rock for ideas on improving energy prices, especially gasoline prices,” said one of the executives, who was granted anonymity to describe internal administration discussions.

Aside from claiming Venezuela can help make up for rising gas prices, they are busy screaming at the Energy Secretary to pull some good news out of his arse.
Energy Secretary Chris Wright and other advisers focused on energy policy, including a council led by Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, “are getting screamed at to find some good news” on bringing down prices, the same executive said. “Folks are scrambling for announcements and messaging to counter the narrative” of rising prices, this person said.
“As usual, POLITICO wrote sensationalist, unverified gossip for clicks,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement. “Nobody is panicking. Thanks to President Trump’s leadership in his first term and current term, the United States remains the largest crude oil and natural gas producer in the world. President Trump’s entire energy team, from the White House to the National Energy Dominance Council to Secretaries Wright and Bessent, have a game plan to keep oil prices stable throughout Operation Epic Fury.”
I'll leave the slurping sounds being emitted during Leavitt's statement to your imagination.

What? Are we talking Iran or Israel here?

Because I am going to go on the record all-in boots on the ground for Iran ain't going to solve any issues in the West or Middle East

Only way to force a 'victory' over Iran in the form of "unconditional surrender" is boots on the ground or use of nuclear weapons. And there's no way American ground forces are going to conquer a country four times the size of Iraq before midterms.

My point exactly. Trump has already lost this war because he didn't make the right preparations. My guess is, Israel told him to attack.

It would literally be Iraq but worse. From what I understand everything about it would make it a worse country to do a boots on the ground invasion. The size, the terrain, the fact that people already hate this is happening in the first place in the aftermath of all the past wars in the middle east.

Just for my own sanity. Is there any actual justification for going into this war outside of Israel's involvement? The copes from the white house are obviously lies, and they are obviously flooding the zone with a thousand different explanations a lot like they did during the Iraq war. I obviously think we are doing this because of Israel. Is there a single explanation outside of that?

Please, please do it. It would be very funny for the "pro-peace" president who bragged about getting the US out of Afghanistan to invade Iran in another forever-war. MAGA wants to watch the world burn, then do it pussies.

or use of nuclear weapons.
I would genuinely be shocked and utterly disgusted if Trump even threatened the use of nuclear weapons. He would put us on the same level as North Korea, making retarded and utterly batshit insane threats.

@prollyanotherlurker, to answer your question about any justification for this war, no. Simply put, there is no good justification for this level of military intervention and conflict. The second and third-order effects of this are far, far worse than the path we were on. This will push Russia, North Korea, China, and other countries closer together, similar to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, pushing Europe closer together. It will also push countries into creating or acquiring nuclear weapons as soon as possible, because who knows if the US will target them next. Iran wasn't going to have nuclear weapons in the near future. This didn't need to happen last weekend.

It really is horrifying. I'm worried at this point that the orange nigger may even somehow manage to devalue my investments in JewS oil companies.
I'm going antifragile at this point with silver/swiss francs/bitcoin. Bitcoin only because I've seen Iranians/Venezuelans use it during their crisis and also Trump wants to use govt money to buy 1 million bitcoins lmao

President Trump, please, pump my bags!

Imagine how much of the national deficit miggers pretend to care about could be reduced if we stopped spending millions of dollars on missiles to bomb star wars sand planet people

They chose to act a day before Purim, a Jewish holiday that features a story of a Persian dictator getting vanquished.

Even the OG neocons thought war with Iran was unwinnable. But we had to secure Bibi’s legacy.

Exactly. This isn't a good time for America to invade Iran. We're not prepared, our morale and economy are both in the shitter, confidence in the government is at an all time low, this is a terrible time to pick a fight that would necessitate a full ground invasion.

Even the OG neocons thought war with Iran was unwinnable. But we had to secure Bibi’s legacy.
The OG Neocons at least had enough sense and spine to wait for favorable conditions and opinions before going on the warpath.

Absolutely, like they have pressured every president but so far Trump is the first to be leveraged into it and wound up doing it.

Iran was fine losing a million KIA to their war with Iraq. It's a different force than the batshit Sunni and whoever they could coerce into uniform with American support for that war. The Shia muslims who may have supposedly helped America are getting IRL bombed at the moment and having their cities destroyed, along with economy, infrastructure, religion, country etc. they will not be friendlies by the time the grunts arrive.

If Trump is not being blackmailed over Epstein into this then a good guess is Bibi convinced Trump that his family and patrons will rule Iran and divy it up economically and he'll get a big taste and legacy. Boy wonder Jared, lead negotiator on preventing this war BTW, will run the grift with his Saudi and Qatari friends. Trump could be easily persuaded this way.

The usual right-wingers will be opposed to it once it starts to go bad. Then after some kind of disaster they'll be against it (like 2016) and pose as outsiders or independents. Only to regroup themselves back into the base and do the same thing again when Israel calls.

They started because a powerful man kidnapped two teenage girls to abuse. So in Afghanistan, Mullah Omar, an itinerant preaching man, got together a bunch of his students, about half of them with rifles, and they went and they fought the warlord's men and they hung him from the barrel of one of the old Soviet tanks the man had. And because the people of Afghanistan wanted something better than the chaos that Reagan and Bush had inflicted on them, it just kind of rolled on from there.
I heard it was two teenage boys to abuse, not that it makes it any better or worse. Both fucked up.

But USPG2 told me that MAGA is totally not neocons!

Most looked to me like they’re seeing Trump as having completely betrayed them for Israel. Those on this site seem much more hivemindish though in wanting to protect the image of Trump still having their interests at heart, but that doesn’t seem representative of regular Trump supporters.

It takes the rise in diesel prices to bestir this boomer, gen Xer to dump Trump. I suppose it's different things to different people. There'll be more of him, many more of him if Trump's Iran War doesn't result in his enemies unconditionally surrendering as he demands. I don't think they will do that.

Well Rubio said Israel told us they were going in and that Iran would respond so we had to strike them preemptively to reduce damage to US assets in the region. So...yes. I'm not sure what the exact timeline was but I knew we were going in since we don't move around F-22s for no reason.

Currently there doesn't appear to be any movement indicative of a planned ground invasion though. We'd most likely go in through Iraq into Iranian Kurdistan so if soldiers suddenly start getting deployed to Iraq get ready for some fun.
