His point was retarded, first theres as many illegals coming in as before. The border is much quieter than a year+ ago, unless you have info on millions more of illegals being boated/airlifted into the country. I think it's safe to say the trend in the official numbers is accurate.

His second point was more coherent but also small minded. "If deportations are happening why aren't they blackbagging [Insert residents of my shithole], therefore nothing is happening". We dont know(nor want to know) where he lives. Is it a major city with DHS going door to door? Or a random small town? Regardless, his coworkers walking free is not evidence of a lack of country-wide immigration action.

Should more be done? Of course, but these mass operations and restructuring of departments aren't instanteous, you have a child's mind if you think they are.
He's just someone that thinks because it's not RIGHT NOW RIGHT NOW RIGHT NOW! it's not happening. Iso standard doomer.

Given how many people are in the "Epstein files", I don't exactly begrudge Donald Trump for figuring in them.

Even someone I would never have suspected to be a prolific character in them, namely the Danish Crown Princess Mette-Marit, do indeed appear in these files far too often and in far too suspecting circumstances for it to be a "reasonable mistake" on her part.

That Donald Trump would appear (allegedly - I haven't read these accusations yet) to be a paedophile in them does not exactly surprise me. I would expect Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Joe Biden amongst many others to be in these files as well. This is not me trying to deflect blame from Donald Trump, but merely making a casual comment on the whole sordid affair.

What supporters of Donald Trump should be furious about is that he's started a war in the Middle-East like the presidents before him, and that he's opening the floodgate of immigrants to the country as well.
Bear in mind that these are parts of American politics that he promised he would overturn and stop.
Oops, it turns out he's just as corrupt and inept as the other presidents before him.

I'm starting to become doom-pilled about the whole "democratic process".
There is no savior for us.

Let us listen to a bit of Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus and cool off, frens.

some dipshits city council made it so you have to have permits on all bikes

being a guy who works in government is so busted you can just be like "you have to pay money to do this now" and then you just get free money

pretty sure I read about a nation that was so based they threw tea in the harbor when their government tried to tax them like a tiny little bit, but it may have just been a fantasy I cant remember

They're trying to implement AI to replace humans in the Mortgage Loan application process. The idea is to replace entire departments who ensure documents for FHA and VA loans are accurate because both agencies audit and slap the shit out of loan companies who submit incomplete applications.

There's a very specific list of requirements. Some AI company promised it would remove the human factor and review loan packages in a fraction of the time with no labor and burden costs. After over a million dollars, and 8 months of fucking around, they've managed to increase the number of government audit findings and fines, and slowed down the application process because now someone has to go back over AI's work because it is terrible at telling one type of document from another when its scanned in sideways or upside down from the retarded loan officer (and they all are). It literally cannot complete a review package if there is anything even slightly abnormal about a 1 scanned document out of 100's.

It's neat. I can't wait for this to shit up the rest of our daily existence.
Underwriting is a pretty fixed process now, especially for FHA/VA loans because the requirements are strict. There is a two-stage underwriting process. The first stage already doesn’t involve humans. The second stage is just to verify everything is legit.

Now AI will never replace loan officers because the whole point of loan officers is to get people who should not otherwise be getting a mortgage to get a mortgage. AI will fuck up the whole grift.

Dude this has been a thing across parts of the US since I dunno, the 60s? This is from Hawaii btw, which of course has a stolen bike problem with all the homeless.

AI also can't be held liable for fuckups
if some retard at your company fucks up loan paperwork and ends up costing you millions as a result, you can at least fire him and maybe sue him for damages if he broke rules or laws in the process
if claude does that you're just stuck with eating the loss yourself, you're not gonna sue anthropic over it and you're not gonna 'fire' claude either since it runs entire departments of your firm

Epstein was a socialite, guilt by association is retarded.

Why would it not surprise you, the man has never given any public or private indicator of being anything other than a guy who wants to bang models. Weird for a pedophile to have so many accusations of illicit sexual activity with adult women and a pretty widely known and gossiped about love life.

The war has been going on since 1979.
There's a big difference between the nightmare of sunk cost in Afghanistan and strategic bombing campaigns.
What floodgate of immigrants are you even talking about, H1B approvals are down, deportations are way up, sanctuary cities are giving up one by one to cooperation with ICE, border crossings are way down, 'self-deportation' is way up, legal victories are being racked up in the courts giving the DHS more authority to lawfully remove people.
Bear in mind that these are parts of American politics that he promised he would overturn and stop.
Oops, it turns out he's just as corrupt and inept as the other presidents before him.
He negotiated an end to the war in Afghanistan, he coerced NATO into upping its defense budgets, he wound down engagement in Ukraine to a politically and strategically viable minimum, he put air power to use against a state sponsor of terrorism and the major destabilizing influence in West Asia, and swiftly dispatched a forward operating base and extraction point for critical resources used by China and Russia. The cartels and Cuba are next. Lots of retarded fires put out across Asia and Africa. I'm missing the part where he's inept, US foreign policy is running both coherently and with surprising vigor and force.
I'm starting to become doom-pilled about the whole "democratic process".

You're going to either save yourself and accept the reality of political processes in a liberal republic or die waiting for the state to be run exactly like you imagine it could and therefore must be run.
