Its still mind boggling how the hell the ayatollah was okay with the blatantly secular government of bashar, or even the bizarre beliefs of the alawites. I get both were united against Israel and for them that's all that mattered. But still, having a government that actually protected Christians whereas its 2nd biggest ally straight up made it illegal to translate the theological works of Christianity into farsi. Its such a bizarre alliance ideologically. Though again given the iranians were alleis with the gooks. Who had no qualms mindraping the islam out of the uyghurs or turning mosques into toiletries. I start the question religiosity of the mullah cocksuckers.
Also, Iran had pretty good relation with Armenia, because they were both against Azeris. The Islamic Regime seems to be more obsessed by their hate of Israel than by Islam.

Im legitimately surprised there hasn't been a plot to bomb the kaaba really. It would've made for maximum hilarity if some of the islamic terror org that became a thing to fight against some sandnigger regime decided to blow up the kaaba.
To be fair, Saudis are already destroying what should be holy sites of Islam, there's a whole Wikipedia article about it, and no one seems to really care. Also, I think the Kaaba was destroyed and rebuilt many times since the beginning of Islam. I don't really understand what Muslims are doing with their "monuments" to be honest.

More and more, it's looking like both the civilian population and the non-insane military grunts are taking the regime less and less seriously.
Civs are laughing at shit getting blown up and chanting the return of the Shah while the military are just abandoning their posts.
Killing Khemani to kick off the war and the total air dominance by the IAF and USAF has buck broken the military and population.

Civilians are chilling knowing they are only going after military targets and feel relatively safer in spite of Tehran getting bombed continuously. I can't imagine many rational military personal see some magic turnaround or way to win this conflict unless they have some retarded jihadi deathwish which many in the IRGC do, so we gotta kill them until morale improves.

I gotta say this has been a pretty clean operation from Israeli and U.S.'s end other then the school which im still not sure about. How many iranian civilians have even been killed?

You know, its kinda of funny. Trump ruled out US boots on the ground... However, he didn't say anything ally/puppet boots on the ground.

He's going vassal/ally swarm Iran, a true map gamer move.
Iran has done exactly the wrong thing at every step. Their "pre-retaliatory" strikes against all their neighbors guaranteed that there would be combat troops on the ground ready to occupy Iranian territory, if only to stop the Islamic Republic from going full retard again in the future.

Whoever was recording this had to have shit their pants

Props to this dude for actually filming the impact. So many times you just get a film of the floor and "allahu akbar!!! derka derk derk!!!!!!!!!"

Edit this is probably a cruise missile of some description, you wouldn't be able to see a ballistic missile before it hit the target, nor would the engine be lit.

How many iranian civilians have even been killed?
Hundreds? Maybe thousands?
You can't completely avoid collateral when your targets are hiding in the middle of a big city.
Just the bunker that got destroyed last night sprawled several streets in a residential area. They had to bomb all of it.
It's just the reality of a military operation like this, and war.

And even then the people there seem to be able to recognize that we're doing our best to avoid killing civilians, and are glad for the bombs anyway. Based on their reactions from behind the camera, on the videos that get posted.

Another Iranian soldier has defected, filming a statement that although he was at first reluctant to do anything out of fear of reprisal from above, he was even more horrified by the January massacres and that 'when the time comes' (presumably when Pahlavi/Trump give the order to rise up again?) he will stand with the people against the Mullahs.

For comparison, in Syria it took about three months from the first reported SAA defections, usually of individual low-ranking grunts like this guy & the one I posted two pages back (April 2011), for the FSA (the first real rebel army) to get organized in July 2011. Albeit the FSA, obviously, never enjoyed the backing of direct US/Israeli air power vs. Assad, nor did they have either an obvious choice for leader in Pahlavi or as close a grip on them as the CIA/Mossad likely will/already have on any nascent Iranian rebellion, so maybe events will move more quickly here compared to 2011.

We may see a $100/barrel soon.

Possibly but I wouldn't count on it in the very short-term. I'm expecting a fade here now. At least somewhat. The real thing people should be asking is how, given that disruption to global oil flows, why isn't it trading at $200 per?

The answer is severe deflation in the global financial system. There is much more afoot to this conflict than launchers and air space. This is a historic event for oil and yet... $90 a barrel? It was already riding very low, telling you everything you needed to know about the world's economy.

That being said, Osama bin Laden is in Hell getting force fed ham sandwiches while being made to watch shitty anime on repeat for all eternity.
Well, Osama is a big fan of Naruto and Detective Conan.

There's likely already unannounced US spec ops deploying in Iranian territory, right? Maybe snatching up the enriched uranium or some such high value targets. I recall hearing way back at the start of the attacks that we already know where the uranium is.

why would the gulf states want to defect from the US? That would be teaching Iran that any time they want something they can bully the GCC until they get what they want?
I'm seeing the doomposting on telegram and on X and it's hilarious.
I mean any minute now the world shipping will collapse over the insurance rates climbing from .15 to .25 over war risk, the US will run out of oil any second now, there's is no more ammo, the radars iran destroyed will take 10 years to be rebuilt, they will keep throwing drones and missiles for years on end, trump is finished, etc.
