Also even if some fucking Europeans does not like it, "International Law" was made by the League of Nations or the ONU (in modern times) meaning the fucking USA did it.

The government knows people will connect 2-and-2 together so they want people to think it'll last till September. Otherwise they would've been more discrete. This is a way of signalling to the Iranians that they can't just run off the clock by lasting 4 more weeks. There are ways to do these things secretly.
Say he actually could've done it and did, then there would be a power vacuum in the Middle East that would be filled by someone. Its very valuable real estate and one power dominating all of it could put train tracks through the area and make some money on trade or do any number of things that would be very annoying to America. Its best to keep the place divided.
Except we know about those places and can destroy them. The MOP is great because you can drop multiple ones into the same hole and have near-limitless depth of penetration. So no underground area is safe. The issue is that there are more valuable targets to hit first because underground shit, by its very nature, isn't optimized for storage space and speed. Why waste a bunch of expensive bombs on a hardened target that contains a few missiles when you can instead destroy dozens of more missiles that are in less secure areas first? Also, when you blow up an Iranian military base or blast IRGC soldiers to pieces in plain view, then the effect of the damage is more readily appaent to everyone. Blowing up underground storage facilities keeps all the destruction hidden from the enemy's other soldiers and from their civilians.
Perfect place then. They're not skilled soldiers so our military will easily shoot them to death if they try anything. Also, every failed attack they try will make the war more justified. The best part, however, is that the people who would engage in violence against the military are usually the losers who would otherwise be beating their wive or children or would be doing other annoying crap. Letting the worst flies near the bug zapper is the best way to stop the spread of social disease.
Also when you're at the start of a new war(like right now), its a good idea to learn as much as possible since your enemy will be revealing new tactics and strategies that they developed for this war. Best to learn what you can quickly so you can adapt.

If you believe in international law you may as well believe in the fucking tooth fairy. The only reason laws matter is because there are strong entities (police and the military) with the capability to use force on you should you break them too much. What armored divisions does "international law" have? What aircraft carriers? What air fleet does it have? None, so it's not real because it can never be enforced.
