The "debris" thing is serious cope, the drones are obviously hitting their target. GPS jamming was widely employed in these countries also. I believe they have planes that just orbit and make all GPS receivers sperg out hardcore.

Question is, do the Iranian drones + missiles have the capability to hit targets without GPS and using other tech?

The people here who say: "doing this gets me material benefit _____" or "I bought shares in the oil companies that backed the Venezuela operation" can make those arguments. But the moralfags in this thread just bemuse me. They're little different than the Leftists they typically despise - just a difference set of soundbites to repeat.

As to the actual practical benefits, the main ones I see are for Netenyahu who is coming up for elections and needs this to win as he's quite unpopular there. And Trump gets the Neocon and Zionist lobby backing that helps him carry out other policies he wants. Or maybe the Israeli lobby has convinced him this will be some quick win and a feather in his cap. But I don't see this working out well for ordinary people.

Any autonomous system should still have a good chance of hitting without GPS. Inertial guidance has been around since V2 rockets. The longer a system has to travel in a degraded environment though the less accurate it's likely to be.

It's not any kind of gotcha. Entire point of the post is to say that the Real Politik people in the thread are the only honest/consistent ones. That all the moralfag arguing for the war based on Good Guys Countries and Bad Guys Countries are just reciting talking points. Take it outside the echo chamber and it all collapses. This war is about power. Anybody who says differently is selling something.

"america having nukes is ok because america has good moral values, iran having nukes is bad because iran has bad moral values" works only for people who agree that american moral values (evonomic freedom, personal liberty, individualism) are good and islamic values (submission to allah, quran and hadith, sharia law) are bad, for everyone else it's a non-starter

I sometimes feel bad that the Holy Land where God and Saviour Jesus Christ lived and died is being relentlessly bombed by backward inbreed savages but then i remember the real Holy Land is in Utah and everything goes back to being allright, God bless America!

I get to most people all of this is a world away from them, but the stock market is going fucking nuts, gas price is up by 33%, oil is up by something like 10%... this is going to impact everyone at the current rate of "happenings"

The fact the US told its citizens to evacuate from all gulf countries means they know this shit is going to get even more serious very soon.

I don't know if Israel and the USA will "lose" but they've taken a seriously big bite with Iran and this shit doesn't look like its going to just end in a day or two no matter how much of the Iranian leadership they kill.

There has already been a 10% increase in the price of gas and diesel in the half a week since the war started here. Also for the first time in my life I saw a Anti-Terror Squad van. They had a camera on top of the van so they were clearly patrolling not just going from point a to b.
