Is there anyone else nowadays for US to cooperate with in military operations? It's not like there's a lot of opportunities, and that's when ally even has a military to speak of. Just look at UK completely pussying out to avoid being implicated in any way, for example.
There's Ukraine, but you can't sufficiently intervene because muh nooks, and South Korea... well, can't do much for the same reason, and current equilibrium is probably good enough for the time being.

Edit: Frankly, USA finds itself playing the role of world police because no one else is willing to step up, whether to actually spend money to ensure they have the capabilities to do so, or have the balls to use it.
And someone has to, at the end of the day. Otherwise Khameneis of this world would be free to wreak havoc, including procuring nuclear weapons and threatening everyone else in accordance with their barbaric views and demands.

How could they? The China and Taiwan fight are more of an Asian theatre thing. It's like asking why Japan or South korea haven't gotten involved yet? Although I can see mossad doing mossad things to give the usa info on tech. But where are the brits in all this? They might not be "the most useful partner" for all conflicts but they are definitely up there with South Korea, Japan and Taiwan when it comes to being a regional close partner (if that makes sense). I mean from pure allies trust level I would rather have Israel as an Ally then say Turkey.

Israel is moving away from the US and trying to start their own alliance. There's still a good relationship but things will not be the same after this.

Stall tactics and lying were all the leverage they had.

If Iran had, I don't know, focused on building their economy instead of pissing away billions to their proxies, they could have had the money to buy the fancy Russian and Chink jets that raped India. The ballistic missiles were a massive strategic crutch and they weren't even that good or accurate with them on a mass scale. The Shahab-3 relied on liquid fuel which is dangerous and time consuming to prepare versus solid fuel. Even Russia is better at the BM game than Iran. The IRGC just saturates the area to overwhelm defenses.

Lmao I love how this meeting was portrayed by some political commentators as being very close to achieving a deal. Saying you have an inalienable right to creating nuclear weapons it is not fucking negotiating. That's the same position you were already at.

South Korea does it's own thing and has an independent arms industry and we still call them a close ally. An Ally growing up and making its own foundational roots doesn't mean they reject being our ally. You want strong independent allies its only a benefit. What you don't want is a nation that just takes without returning.
