Venezuela's dictator Maduro got churroed in a bloodless, for Americans, strike. Iran is likely just one strong kick to bring down the rotten door from above, again little to no American lives. Cuba is likely on the menu right now given the blockade and it's likely that special forces operations against cartels is happening showing Narco terrorist fucks whose really in charge.

Were spending all that money on military defense and the best defense is an offense along with little to no American blood. This might be completely cynical on the part of Trump to pick up wavering approval ratings, but damn are strings of victories the best way to bring it back up.

Iran’s overall strategy is retarded but I don’t think their tactics here are so bad. They just want to make this as inconvenient as possible. Destroying that airbase would make Iran less accessible to Western countries. And what’s the risk to them anyway? They’re already fighting America directly. At worst America’s junior allies like England or Greece jump in but it doesn’t really make their situation any worse. In fact, it might improve the Muslim persecution complex optics on their end and get them some easy kills if the English are dumb enough to fly a Typhoon into Iran.

Attacking Saudi Arabia and Qatar’s energy infrastructure is just tit-for-tat after America started blowing up Iranian oil refineries. If they cost the Arabs enough, they might actually ask the Americans to stop. Hurting Gulf countries in response to America hurting Syria is pretty much the only door open to Syria. Kind of sucks for them but they aren’t entirely innocent in this.

Oh I’m sure they’ve had the special centrifuges working overtime. What I’m skeptical of is being presented with such things as part of an astroturfed buildup to going to Proper War.
We’ve been here before. Got a couple of good protest albums, a lot of dead soldiers and absolutely no closer to the Middle East being any saner than any previous point in the last 3000 years.

What will it be used for? Fucking around in Libya, Syria and everywhere else so Erdogan can continue to extort Europe for money, and because Turkey is in NATO to cuck Russia in the black sea we have to be permissive of them.
 
A certain group of people is really pushing for the return of Reza Pahlavi to Iran, and the twitter astroturfing has returned to his posts. It seems they are killing any high-ranking person they can find, perhaps in an attempt to prevent Trump from doing with Iran what he did with Venezuela. Of course, Reza Pahlavi is a coward who knows he is still very unpopular with Iranians, and he is not stupid enough to set foot in Iran until that changes.

Its a doubly retarded question. First because obviously you wont get an answer. Second because the answer is obvious anyways, there won't be boots on the ground. At least thats what they're currently thinking and it seems that it's unlikely the US would need to at this point. If you asked me before day 1 I would say "probably", but after getting air superiority in 2 days... unlikely.

For someone to take over they need sufficient pull and name recognition that random goat fucker missile commander would recognize who they are or at least someone in their circle recognize who they are. Otherwise why listen to them?

Trump is saying the name of people with sufficient pull. The real question is if they have id'ed anyone the west would deem acceptable or at least have enough real politik to cut a deal and have enough buy in for the deal to mean anything.

The biggest danger right now is IRGC splintering into dozens of subfaction going guerilla and all claiming they are the true successor.

If America keeps killing everyone who tries to takd control, then nobody can surrender either. If Israel wants to kill them all whatever, but America will lose interest soon.
