No. Some are saying it was an Iranian misfire. But who knows? We can't expect a forensics team on the ground whose results can be trusted. Also, we only have Iran's word on the death toll (180).

I can't find this in that thread or any reporting of this. Iran is blaming the USA/Israel according to news sources. I also find it hard to believe they would admit this since it is terrible PR for their enemies.

Edit: This thread is moving faster than I can type. There was a post claiming that Iran admitted this, but it's not true.

It's an opposition channel that also mostly took back that remark a few minutes later.

New footage did pop up showing damage done to the military base that was infront of the school (fire @ 0:05), it seems the missiles were American.

Iran does not have an interim Supreme Leader. When the position of Supreme Leader is vacant, it is filled by a leadership council composed of the President, the Chief Justice, and a member of the Guardian Council selected by the Expediency Council. [Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Article 111]

Arafi is the member of the Guardian Council who was selected. Reports of his death appear to be fake news.

Ehh, Ill give them a pass. Shits chaotic, theres GPS jamming and EW everywhere and everyone except Israel and the US is new to this. The Gulf states have lived in luxury and now the finally have to use their equipment. There were multiple blue on blue incidents in the Afghan war where the US bombed our own troops. It gets swept up fast because optics but it happens.

I think it was a malfunction, I can't see any projectiles in the footage of the moment one of them suddenly combusted.
