They aren't drafting anyone for this, I imagine the "war" (will forever be considered a "conflict") will be mostly airstrikes that Iran can't defend against with minimal U.S casualties. I imagine Iran will use it's remaining stockpile of missiles on Israel which if I calculated correctly would amount to a total of three destroyed buildings considering Israel not only has an "Iron Dome" but also mid and long rang missile defense systems. Iran has similar terrain to Afghanistan so I don't see the U.S invading it with much success unless we plan on being there for at least a decade. At best the conflict will deescalate potentially resulting in regime change. Contrarily Iran has given the U.S everything it wanted, even signing agreements to denuclearize, this sets a precedent to other nations to never give into U.S demands. Even if boots are on the ground they will send the young Latinx that willingly signed up directly to the front lines. Nothing of value lost at the end of the day with Russia and China being reluctant to provide them with arms (snopes factcheck this).
