I grant this is pretty rainbow worthy, but I could see Trump encouraging those countries that Iran lashed out against -- especially the UAE and Saudi Arabia -- to handle boots on the ground governance if they need to occupy the country. No Americans need apply.

This is such a lazy argument, I remember reading some stuff about stuxnet 10-15 years ago. the US and Israel (who denied it of course) had a virus that would basically fuck up the centrifuges required to enrich uranium for nukes. we've been doing shit like that for a long time. A lot of nuclear scientists have gotten killed in "accidents" as well.

I hope more of what we've done becomes common knowledge because it's cool as hell.

This has been considered a threat and part of dealing with Iran since the 1980's. (Not the phone part)

One of the big things that always came across was if you hit Iran, they'll go sleeper cell and also go fucking suicide bomber on the whole fucking Middle East.

That's part of why we didn't really want to do more than just shit like Operation Eagle Claw or missile strikes. They always had the Doomsday Machine attitude, complete with the idea of hitting everyone everywhere.

Remember, we're dealing with the type of people who hit themselves in the face with a hammer because it feels good when they stop.

And, of course, that traitorous old fossil got up to whinge a fucking speech about how evil America is again. Hey, maybe she can over there and open her holes for the Arabs like she did the VC, the fucking cunt.

Even fundamentalists have a breaking point, see the soviet poltiburo sending surrender offers to germany up to 1942 that were ignored, or the SS surrendering early without firing a shot in italy 1945 with OSS behind the scenes negotiations, or the japanese emperor and elites finally wrestling control and ordering a surrender in august 1945.
I can see the IRGC resisting, but will the army and civilian leadership? those are the big questions, even venezuela has hardliners that now only being purged by the pro-us vice president.

Stuxnet isn't even the most impressive virus they've unleashed. The Americans/Israelis hacked Kaspersky with Duqu 2.0 which was a virus that resided almost entirely in RAM. It would spread throughout a network and every time a computer was restarted, another computer in that network would detect it and reinstall Duqu 2.0 onto it.

That remote controlled machine gun they used to kill the top Iranian nuclear scientist was pretty cool too.

They couldn't because of the massacres but the will was there. After 40 days there were minor protests even under the restrictive eye of the government. Shows there's something still there.
