Just because General Ackmed is dead isn't going to stop Lieutenant Abdul pointing the missile launcher at someone and hitting the button. Modern (even obsolete Chinese shit) weapons are extremely dangerous and could kill tons of innocent people if we leave them alone to keep firing them everywhere, and it's unlikely they'll stop. Their country is fucked and their pope-emperor is dead, at this point anyone still manning their weapons is in this for revenge.

It smells like another 'arab spring' with a decade of desert summers thrown in. Hopefully we don't hit nuclear winter when pakistan kicks off.

I would much prefer everyone to walk away and let the middle east correct their own tribal warlord balance of power.

and, with AI, you can’t exactly trust all the photos and videos, either.

I think this will be more and more of an issue going forward. We have been alive in a unique period of humanity (basically a single century) where you could verify things across time and space via photo/video. And that’s over now

Most of them could not give a Shi-(ite) about Iran getting hit. Remember there’s an Arab saying that Saddam Hussein (who was ofc a Sunni dictator in a Shiite majority nation) had on his desk, something along the line of: Three things that god should not have created - Persians, Jews and flies.

I’ve heard that the Iranians use the same proverb, but in their version the “Persians” has been exchanged with “Arabs”.

Or to put it simply all Muslims generally despise the Jews and the state of Israel, but the inter religious hatred is of a similar level.

Kind of expected, no? Their entire MO is complete moderation and fence sitting (with respect to foreign politics). If I recall correctly, they're also one of the few nations in the middle east that is friendly with Iran. Although that may only be to avoid Iran funding terrorism in their country as well...
