So, I don't think this was posted here...
But on his podcast, Sam Harris addressed that people were recommending he invite "Internet goons of one form of another, people [he's] not inclined to name, much less give a platform to" onto his podcast to defend Trump (since Harris hates Trump and has had several episodes where he talked to other people who hate Trump), and that he was unimpressed with these suggestions. Reading between the lines, it was reasonable to assume Sargon was one of the people he was referring to.
Sargon responded to this on Dave Rubin (this video contains Harris's comments as well as Sargon's response), and his response was idiotic:
Apparently he equates having standards for who one invites onto one's show as being a "pretentious bourgeois liberal."
For context, here are some of the recent people who have been guests on Sam Harris's podcast:
-Michael V. Hayden: Former General and former head of both the NSA and CIA.
-Garry Kasparov: Chess grandmaster, possibly the best chess player of all time, prominent Russian dissident and political activist.
-David Frum: Former speechwriter for President George W Bush, current editor of The Atlantic.
-Charles Murray: Prominent (and controversial) political scientist, sociologist and author.
-Neil deGrasse Tyson: Astrophysicist and famous popularizer of science.
-Lawrence Krauss: Theoretical physicist and another famous popularizer of science.
-Timothy Snyder: Prominent historian and author who is a professor at Yale.
-Peter Singer: One of the most influential philosophers of ethics of our time.
By contrast, Carl Benjamin is a youtube autist who dropped out of high school and has never held a real job in his life, who is not qualified to discuss any subject except possibly how to monetize making youtube videos. He is completely beneath Harris's notice and not even close to being in the same league as the caliber of people Harris actually has on his show. When Harris can have guests of the standard of quality that he does, why the hell would he waste his time on Sargon, and how is it "pretentious" to acknowledge that Sargon is totally fatuous in comparison to the people he actually invites onto the show?
