Apparently they're gonna get his Patreon shut down.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous.

Zoe can go and do fuck all and be trashy cunt as she is, her patreon is A-OK!
Wu is being simply Wu and also doing fuck-all, nobody touches her patreon.
Anita scammed thousands of dollars without delivering shit to her backers, nobody says shit.

And Sargon, who's actually constantly delivering content he said he would deliver (whenever you like it or not) is suddenly under radar because he made few videos critical of her.

Seriously, hypocrisy this big is making me nauseus.

:stress:

Uhh, he sat in the front row of her talk and said nothing. So no doxxing, no harassment, no threats etc.

She's a woman, though. At least her patreon is dying every month.

Edit: He updated with a tweet saying Patreon thinks Sargon' actions are distasteful but not breaking the CoC. Who wants to bet this retard reported Sargon to Patreon for the purpose of this post?

Patreon isn't canning Sargon, article updated:
6fff96e6b2.png

The guy that wrote the article is pretty dumb and/or disingenuous, because that "So why isn't Sargon technically violating Patreon's policies?" comes after this description of what you'd need to do to get shitcanned:
"According to a representative at Patreon, it has a whole "trust and safety team" that it deploys to look into creators who have potentially violated its code of conduct, which states that "any creator caught in the act or convicted of making credible violent threats, committing violent crimes, malicious doxing, coordinating nonviolent harm such as fraud or encouraging others to do the aforementioned harmful activities may be banned from using Patreon.""

He's trying to make it seem like Sargon is escaping punishment on a mere technicality depite obvious wrongdoing, rather than having done nothing wrong bar stirring the pot a bit by actually turning up.

And as a preface to this next bit, Vidcon has different ticket tiers with different event access(possibly also area access?) - "Community" for fans/viewers, "Creator" for creators to network, and "Industry" for people interested in all the traditional media business stuff like sponsorships and management.

The talk/event they sat in on only required a "Community" ticket, i.e. the lowest tier, it was open to everyone attending Vidcon and apparently the people he turned up with were just about the only ones who actually turned up at all.

Sargon on Joe Rogan's show: (almost) four hours of autism.

My god that was hard to watch. Why was he addressing the camera as if anita was actually watching?

its interesting watching Sargon try and be Sargon outside of his little anti-sjw youtube bubble. When Joe asked him to explain who Anita Sarkeesian was he seemed genuinely unable to accept that the majority of the audience has no knowledge of his internet slapfights.
Surely he knew the format. 20 minutes in, they should have been talking about mushroom trips and DMT goblins, but Sargon was still sperging about fucking vidcon like it was the talk of the town.

I like the part where Sargon says (and I'm paraphrasing), "I'm not obsessed with Anita Sarkeesian. I've only made 30 videos about her." Normie Rogan doesn't understand Sargon's autistic logic.
30 videos over five years? That's really not much. Its just Sargon being a shitty TMZ and treating her like a net celebrity.

How many vids has dunderfeet made?

30 videos is still a lot. Or, at least, it sounds like a lot to people outside of Sargon's secluded enclave of internet autism. If Joe Rogan had dedicated 30 episodes of his radio program to discussing Steven Seagal, he would be thought of as obsessed, too.

I think Sargon said he'd made about 700 videos overall, so 30 is a bit of a drop in the bucket, Thunderf00t has about the same number of videos but after a quick search of his videos seems to have about twice as many about Anita specifically, but also has a ton of videos about feminism where she no doubt features prominently despite not being in the title or description.

He's probably got well over 30 videos where he talks about some retarded conspiracy theory, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Moon Landing cropped up that often by itself.

LOL, I don't think that Thunderf00t should be the comparative standard for assessing whether other people are obsessed with Anita Sakeesian.

There may be people who are more obsessed with her (Owen and Aurini spring to mind), but he's still a bit obsessed. Come on. It won't hurt to admit that it is a little weird.

That's not really the funny part, though. The funny part is his lack of self-awareness, that he thought saying, "I ONLY made 30 videos about Anita," was something he could say to a normal person without looking like a nutjob.

He started out making videos about her I think? So he basically followed up and catered to his audience. Makes sense to me. Hey, they like this shit... ima gonna make more.

So, I don't think this was posted here...

But on his podcast, Sam Harris addressed that people were recommending he invite "Internet goons of one form of another, people [he's] not inclined to name, much less give a platform to" onto his podcast to defend Trump (since Harris hates Trump and has had several episodes where he talked to other people who hate Trump), and that he was unimpressed with these suggestions. Reading between the lines, it was reasonable to assume Sargon was one of the people he was referring to.

Sargon responded to this on Dave Rubin (this video contains Harris's comments as well as Sargon's response), and his response was idiotic:

Apparently he equates having standards for who one invites onto one's show as being a "pretentious bourgeois liberal."

For context, here are some of the recent people who have been guests on Sam Harris's podcast:

-Michael V. Hayden: Former General and former head of both the NSA and CIA.
-Garry Kasparov: Chess grandmaster, possibly the best chess player of all time, prominent Russian dissident and political activist.
-David Frum: Former speechwriter for President George W Bush, current editor of The Atlantic.
-Charles Murray: Prominent (and controversial) political scientist, sociologist and author.
-Neil deGrasse Tyson: Astrophysicist and famous popularizer of science.
-Lawrence Krauss: Theoretical physicist and another famous popularizer of science.
-Timothy Snyder: Prominent historian and author who is a professor at Yale.
-Peter Singer: One of the most influential philosophers of ethics of our time.

By contrast, Carl Benjamin is a youtube autist who dropped out of high school and has never held a real job in his life, who is not qualified to discuss any subject except possibly how to monetize making youtube videos. He is completely beneath Harris's notice and not even close to being in the same league as the caliber of people Harris actually has on his show. When Harris can have guests of the standard of quality that he does, why the hell would he waste his time on Sargon, and how is it "pretentious" to acknowledge that Sargon is totally fatuous in comparison to the people he actually invites onto the show?

Harris is cultivating his own autistic army, so like... that trend will only continue. And if he keeps up shit like inviting Murray, YouTube Dweebs are going to be the only people that won't blow him off.

The Murray episode was actually excellent and did a great job of dispelling a lot of the misconceptions and assumptions surrounding Murray's work. If you haven't listened to it, you should, and see if it changes your opinion.

Unfortunately it is basically impossible to even touch the subject of race and intelligence in any way without people busting out pitchforks. But if anyone else is used to having their views mischaracterized, it's Harris, so he bravely decided to give Murray a platform (and he even acknowledged his apprehension about doing so and awareness of how some people would react).

By contrast, by far one of his worst episodes was the first one with Jordan Peterson (and the second Peterson appearance to try to redeem them both wasn't much better), and was an example of Harris giving in to what fans were asking for (Peterson being by far the most requested guest ever). And Peterson still had about 100 times the resume Carl Benjamin does. So I'd say those episodes are a better example of your point than the Murray one.

(Anyways, getting :offtopic: so we should probably end this line of discussion or move it somewhere else if you really want to keep it up.)
