I see people here and around other places being confused by the Pakistan embassy thing. So let's make it simple. Pak is a CCP client state at this point. They are buying CCP military equipment and aligning with them more and more politically. Never forget Osama, besides the fact that we found him hiding out literally across the street from their version of the pentagon i mean.. When the team that went and got him had to destroy/abandon one of their stealth helicopters, CCP officials were on scene to collect the wreckage within the hour or so.. To give you an idea of their ties even then. One of the reasons for CCP claims on northeastern Indian territory (as seen with the CCP mini aggression/invasion during covid) is that they want a sizeable land bridge directly with pakistan for trade and military utility throughout the mid-east. The fact that India and pak don't get along either is only a bonus for pak. The CCP backs Iran.

That is the context that should be used to look at the outburst.

Sounds like the work of MEK or maybe the Kurds. You *can* get a gun in Iran for relatively cheap by US standards through the blackmarket but its too expensive for your everyday Iranian to get, and risky. The govt will beat you within an inch of death or hang you for having an illegal gun. Its easier for the Kurds to obtain them however through Iraq and Turkey. MEK is a quasi terror opposition group so them having and using guns is to be expected.
