I think its him:

Senior Israeli official confirms that head of IRGC Quds Force Gen. Esmail Qaani attended a meeting with Khamenei at his residence this morning. Apparently, Qaani left shortly before the attack on the compound, and was not harmed. He just happens to slip out shortly before any major assassination strike is coming. He's survived a dozen of those.

he was also the one who survived an attack in Lebanon in 2024 as well and the 12 Days war.

Pakistan has nukes and they are much more fervent Muslims and stupider than Iranians, and they haven’t been doing this.

I don’t believe Iran was actually a credible threat.

Also, the justification for so many wars and financing of Muslim rebellions, has been that we (the West) are helping rescue people from evil dictatorships.

This never works out: the locals, funnily enough, don’t appreciate being bombed by outsiders. Meanwhile the power vacuum created means even worse Muslims get into power.
