the leftoids are right, Israel wants America to do another extensive campaign in the region. The difference is that the evangelical vote in 2026 isn't as strong as the evangelical vote in 2003, so this will likely play out horrifically if Trump really is that retarded

T-64 tanks were obsolete.
The ex-soviet countries seemed to be fools keeping them around. But in the Donbass conflict 60+ years later, it turns out having a makeshift artillery piece that can shrug off drone strikes can be pretty useful. Not useful enough to airlift or base a military around, but still worth having.

Right now the balance is towards avoidance over taking hits but accuracy and target acquisition are getting so good, maybe survivability will become a priority again.
