Beside the Strait of Hormuz effectively being closed, it looks like insurers are cancelling insurance policies of any ship in the area. This has a huge impact on everything and you cannot/do not ever operate a vessel without insurance. This means that the vessels will all be getting the fuck out of there and to port/moorings or safer areas.
This will significantly impact oil prices and supply chains everywhere. Even if this shit gets resolved in a few days and goes back to "normal" its going to have a huge impact.
