There is no audience for what he is doing. He is a pretentious failed comic book creator who doesn't seem to make comics anymore but thinks he is a great artiste "comics pro". His takes on TV and movies don't work because he has total shit taste in everything. Getting on the bandwagon for a failed show nobody watches like Star Fleet Academy is a brave choice I guess but not one that will get views. And he doesn't like to review comics either and when he does review them, he has nothing interesting to say.

Unless he is talking about someone more popular than him, his core audience is probably less than a 1k views now. The channel is dead and he is effectively dead. His days seem to consist of going to the mall to eat breakfast at McDonalds, then being the creep that hangs out out at the mall staring until security tells him to leave. Yes, my brain retarded for a bit. Thank you for correcting me. It was Molly Dwyer who was the original accuser. An interesting tidbit that was relayed to me over a year ago was that Piskor was mentoring Dwyer's ex boyfriend at the the time she tossed out the accusations. It would jive since according to her she only spoke to Piskor because her boyfriend encouraged her to. I haven't been able to verify if Piskor mentoring Dwyer's ex was true or not.

I've followed his views on movies and TV since the beginning of his channel. Back when he started, he did an entirely positive review of The Last Jedi. And eventually took it down because it was so out of step with his audience and so embarrassing. But he believed it just like believes in Star Fleet Academy. The only difference is that he is way more vocal and out-front about the shows he hates.

He has been gradually walking away from his audience for a very long time. It started with his attitude toward customers. At first he did the comicsgate thing of saying his job making comics was simply to please the customer and do what the customer wanted. But then he modified it when he started getting criticism for being late on his projects and other stuff. The new rule was that its all about the customer. But if you are critical of me, I will refund you making you no longer a customer and then have no right to be critical of me.

There was also a point where he started to think of himself as a serious comics professional and an "artist" with an "artistic vision". He started getting as thin skinned about criticism of his comics as the people at marvel were to his early reviews & criticism. That made him really difficult to deal with.

There was also a moment where he mostly stopped doing negative reviews of mainstream comics. Out of a combination of being bored generating the same content over and over again. But also because in his own mind they were now "fellow creators" and he had obligations now to treat them differently as a serious "comics professional".

The heel turn against the nerdrotic and the nerdrotic's people seemed to happen vaguely the same time as relations between Ethan Van Sciver at those people broke down. I think a large part of all that behavior is soft-brained simping to comicsgate and Ethan. He has always been an Ethan fanboy even when he couldn't be a good Ethan follower. Even though he is not aligned with comicsgate anymore. The same with Eric July. There was no objective reason for him to care about nerdrotic or critical drinker or Eric July. But there was a subjective reason of pleasing EVS.

But its also obviously views. Because he gets way more views attacking other people now than he does talking about anything else. And he doesn't seem to make comics anymore or want to do reviews which puts pressure on him to talk about something else. Anything else.

A comic book YouTuber that literally has thousands of comics in his collection actually gave Cyberfrog Bloodhoney a terrible review and said Rippaverse is loads better..... including Isom which I know is going to hurt that fat bastard's pride by A LOT. For a company that is so low quality, they sure do seem to be attracting a lot of readers as of late.... And making new fans as a result. For a man like EVS that's so obsessed with giving criticism, he sure can't take any for himself. Or rejection either for that matter.

I'm not up on youtube and marvel/DC attitudes on this kind of thing, but it seems rather ballsy to me to do reviews direct and unambiguously from pirated content. Has been doing this for a while? And is this not a problem from a publisher point of view for him?

I would have thought that this kind of dumbass behavior would earn a copyright strike.
