Typically, SC judges have a whole team of staff to help them research and formulate their opinions. Thomas' staff must be exemplary.

So, 2008 all over again.

It used to be the radical loons recognized they needed a charismatic figurehead for their side. Like Harry Reid famously said, someone who speaks "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one". Now they've successfully bullied their own side into Vote Blue No Matter Who, and can run any random DEI candidate like Kamala, who can't even speak straight for 2 minutes at a time.

The Clinton wing built their political machine the hard way over decades. I wonder what Newsom's relationship with them is? He doesn't strike me as the kind of realpolitik liberalism they usually embody.

To my knowledge Newsom is part of the San Francisco political mafia along with Pelosi and Feinstein.

All artificial engagement is still engagement with your platform. As much as Elon may not like them, he wouldn't do something that massively hurt Xitters optics as a "public forum".
