This is the same guy who was involved with GTA Underground and makes various videos about Take Two and how they are regarding mods of their game. Him playing stupid and acting like they wouldn't go after him over the mod when they took down GTA Underground and numerous other mods for the same exact reasons makes him either the dumbest motherfucker in history, or he wants to make himself look more innocent, which is more likely.

The stream he announced is very interesting for sure, maybe @Osama Bin Laden can take a dive in and see what's up.

EDIT: That DevDew guy made another video questioning the situation and wondering why he hasn't shown any proof of his claims, while also claiming he's intoxicated in the video.

It's been a whole lot of nothing, pretty much all the callers sound like they've never spoken to another human being in their lives. I get getting nervous talking "in front" of 200+ viewers, but this is just ridiculous.

One point that someone mentioned that I found interesting is the whole Rat Wars thing: adding real guns, not even toy ones, to a game full of kids is absolutely retarded. I understand that they were restricted to a specific game mode that technically didn't involve those kids, but if there's one thing I've learned from online games, it's that people always find ways to exploit the game and push the boundaries. There would absolutely have been people shooting and killing kids, one way or another, and that would have been awful from Rockstar's perspective.

He also briefly addressed the scam controversy, reiterating that refunds were offered and issued to those who requested them. I get not being able to show the letter sent by Take-Two, but nothing prevents him from being more transparent about the refunds. If they were actually issued, then show a screenshot of one and shut all the critics down instantly; it's that simple. Regarding whether it was all a scam or not, he argues that since a functional and playable Bully multiplayer mod was technically developed and eventually made public, it could not have been a scam.

Yeah this is true, I never thought much about this, but the devs probably had full access in spawning an AK-47 or any other weapons in the main game.
 
I noticed this with his stream he did after the transphobia in GTA 5 video, most of the people who talk to him are asskissers, but that's usually most streams, even MATI (no offense to Jersh).
 
He's still blaming the mod getting taken down entirely on Take Two. Not even defending Take Two for this but they wouldn't have paid attention to the mod if you weren't promoting it everywhere in the Gaming Press and using a Ko-fi to try and make money off of it.

On one hand, I totally agree with his sentiment that going after modding is a stupid and self-sabotaging idea, but I also believe that him monetizing the mod from the get go was an equally stupid and self-sabotaging idea.

His argument all along has been: "the mod would probably have been taken down anyway!" And it's true, it probably would have been, but that probability still leaves room for success, and all monetizing the mod did was increase the chances of it being taken down; he literally sabotaged the project.

Someone on yesterday's stream mentioned Multi Theft Auto (MTA) and San Andreas - Multiplayer (SA-MP), two multiplayer mods for San Andreas that have been around for two decades at this point, and wondered why they've been allowed to operate freely for so long. Of course, SWEGTA didn't address that, but I think the fact that they're free, and always have been, is a major reason.

I wish someone had asked about RE:V, why is a mod that lets people play GTA V online on PS3 allowed to stay up but not Bully Online? Why has RE:V worked freely for over a year while Bully Online gets taken down in a month?

I find it stunning that Bully is apparently this infinite pool of discussion near enough 20 years on.

It’s all been discovered and discussed by now. Has been that way for years.

All that’s left is in-fandom drama. And you’ve got a silly wanker like Swegta grifting and thinking Rockstar is fine with junkies profiting off their aged IP.

Think what annoys me most about Swegta is his little pinny fucking rat eyes. Talks like he’s in between bites of skirting board.

He also got into a bit of a spat with someone who pointed out how retarded it was to have the mod behind a paywall.

And finally another video was uploaded by this Dew guy who made an iceberg about Bully Online. The main takeaways are:
  • There was a nameless developer causing trouble with Bully MP
  • SWEGTA worked as a "community manager" promoting the mod and coming up with designs for Bully MP before getting involved with Bully Online.
  • Bully MP was buggy as hell and bare bones when it was released.
  • Many of the same issues Bully MP had were made worse in Bully Online.
  • Bully Online and its discord server was filled with creeps and pedos making inapropriate comments towards the child characters.
  • The in-game chat was completely unmoderated despite its strict rules.
  • SWEGTA's previous criticisms towards Bully MP feel hollow with how Bully Online turned out.
  • He claims that his finances are screwed again, probably due to buying more useless shit and drugs.
  • Claims are being made that Rockstar/Take-two never even contacted SWEGTA about the mod and he took it down himself due to paranoia.
  • Another claim also states that he deliberately paygated the mod through Ko-fi and subscribed videos to take it down on purpose in order to minimize unwanted attention.
All and all some Very Juicy stuff.

Meanwhile that DewSmoke guy uploaded another few videos regarding SWEGTA and Bully Online. The first one about how SWEGTA blocked him on twitter over the accusations and that SWEGTA had his fans attack Dew that stopped when SWEGTA blocked him.

And the other one about a petition he made regarding Rockstar and Take Two to clarify if they are allowed. He also talks about how SWEGTA went into hiding about it and deleted posts about the situation.
