I don't think there's enough caffiene in the world to get someone through 4 hours of Sargon. His 30 minute videos are tedious enough, let alone eight times that much.

The entire Joe podcast was Joe trying to shove an entire fence up his own ass, while being unable to do much other than concede to Sargon.

I am a pretty big Sam Harris fan and listen to his Waking Up podcast regularly. I can't even sit through a fraction of his four-hour-long appearances on Rogan's show. I don't understand who watches this shit.

@RealDecepticonLeader mentions it would be torture to get through that much Sargon, but in addition to that, Joe Rogan is an ignorant imbecile and terrible interviewer and asks extremely stupid questions and adds extremely stupid commentary to any discussion. When I tried to watch one of the Sam Harris appearances, Rogan asked Harris some inane questions about the War in Iraq, then repeatedly interrupted Harris's answers to rant about how the War in Iraq was really about the US trying to obtain "minerals" and he wouldn't accept any more complicated or nuanced explanations. Because apparently his understanding of foreign policy comes from Avatar.

Funny thin is, Thunderfoot of all people should remember that this situation isn't anything new: it was what happened in the atheist community when Rebecca Watson decided to use her time on the microphone to call out Stef McGraw, which started the schism between what would become Atheism+ (basically Rebecca Watson's clique) vs. the rest of the atheist community.

Joe Rogan is still better and more watchable than nearly all mainstream media. Significantly. His whole spiel is basically "Dude, bruh, wanna come chill, smoke some weed and shoot the shit?" and he gives his guests the time of day and the discussion is decent.

Joe Rogan is the Larry King of our generation.
