I'm not deep in the lore, but has this thread ever been about Jazz himself and not the absolute clown car of orbiters?

Jazz was never the star to the level Sandshrew is now, but it used to be about the horrible people in the reality show about him.

I think most people just largely feel sorry for Jazz himself. None of this is his fault. Poor kid was groomed on national TV almost from the time he could walk.

Jaron is 25 years old and has fully leaned into being a gender homunculus & harming as many children as possible by promoting his treatment as a success. While I sympathize with what he went through, he also could have left or told the truth at any point in the last seven years. There is footage on his TV show of him scrolling through facebook comments and reading them aloud, he is completely aware that a lot of people think he was abused and he rejects the idea, likely because he doesn't want to be cut off from his parents money. He is a whore, basically. Twenty five is old enough to know the difference between right and wrong, he has had a job so he knows that it is possible to survive without them, but he prefers sponging off his parent's wealth more than working and being his own person.

it is very rare for two shitty people to produce a non-shitty person. It happens for sure, but for the most part, you can expect more of the same. Jaron is a damaged person but he is also a spoiled brat and very comfortable with the enmeshment with his mom, because it means he can enjoy being his mother's favorite over all the other siblings.

Jazz was the focus of this thread for a good 2/3rds of it. If the medical treatment hadn't made him obese & psychotic I am certain there would be more seasons of I Am Jazz. He stays off social media for the most part because the attention is negative and overwhelming. Sander is free to provide content to this thread because no one really gives a shit enough to bully him on his accounts.

This is Jazz's whole life, it's the only thing he's ever known and he's spent his life being praised for being strong against his adversaries. Too much of society still praise troons and you think he is somehow smarter than the rest of them and can realise how wrong his upbringing was.
I would say it's the opposite, he's never been the brightest bulb and he's emotionally immature, if he eever realises what has been done to him and how he's been complicit in getting others on the trans train, that's likely years away.
He's 25, that's the start of the maturing of the brain, a process that takes years and for some is slower than for others.

I just think you have too high of an opinion on Jaron's psyche and his mental abilities.

I don't know why you're weighing in at all when you're not willing to read the thread? He had a mental breakdown on national television because he wanted to go to a party school and his mom insisted on harvard, and that's a big reason why he ended up majoring in art despite having zero interest in it up to that point. The chances of making it into a career are very low. His parents also made a really big deal about stifling any chance at independence between high school and college by forbidding him from living away from home. His mom was sure his neo vagina would heal shut if he moved out. I really doubt that the entire dynamic of their relationship has changed to be healthy.

I was blaming him for not speaking out now as an adult, not for being transitioned as a minor. Detransitioners and ex-cult members are doing that, which is good. If someone stayed in a cult for personal gain and knew it was bullshit and life-ruining, yeah I would blame an adult for that.

Mentally he's still 11 or 12 really. He never went through normal puberty so his brain is not that of normally functioning 25 year old's.

I'm not saying he can recognise right from wrong, or that he can't understand the truth at some point, but his perspective on things is a child's perspective, so you have to view his actions from that lens.

If you’re gonna be needlessly snide about people having not read every page of this thread, then you can’t mix up basic details like claiming Jazz never showed an interest in art. Art is notably one of Jazz’ only interests (skill level aside…).

Anyway, there’s not really a point to berate Jazz about not speaking out. Many people can barely admit they’re wrong about completely inconsequential things. Jazz would not only have to come to terms with his life being a science experiment, but his own family did it to him. What other support system does he have? JAnd if he ever spoke out, people would still want to use him as a puppet activist — just for the other side. I don’t see many happy endings for Jazz.

Not to mention, don’t think Jazz is doing much activism as it is. If anything he’s seen as a cautionary tale and just by existing in his fucked up family’s web he’s probably unintentionally doing a lot more anti-trans activism than his random appearances at these pop up events are furthering the cause.

I've mentioned that KF (mainly this thread) made me a bit more sympathetic to "never had a chance" cases (child troons), vs. the predatory adult ones. And aside from the occasional social media "collaborations" showcased here, I'd say 99% of Jaron's visibility & influence have disappeared since the show ended.

On the other hand, never underestimate how long these people tend to live for. Even the people you'd expect to die from suicide or self-inflicted health issues tend to live way longer than any reasonable person expects them to.

To lazy to reply to all posts but...

Just because someone turns 18 doesn't mean they're mature. They're mature enough to understand that if they step out of line, the consequences of their actions are more severe now as they're considered legally adults, but people still are developing maturity, intelligence, impulse control, and all that makes us functional adults.

With that being said, Jazz being an adult, and I'm talking specifically about Jazz here, means nothing because he is emotionally, physically, and mentally stunted. He's a child and he's never gonna move on that phase of his life, so asking him to act like an adult is like asking a 10yo boy to get a real job and start working and expecting they will produce good results.

Also, Jazz thinks he's been "cured", and the disease here ain't being trans, but being a girl who was born with male organs, which they need to remove and modify so he can be a true girl. For him, people criticizing the procedures are as bad as someone who would protest a person receiving an organ transplant to live. Even with the limitations of his body, he's been "allowed" to be a girl as much as possible, so he truly can't understand why we're bad towards him. Not only this is his reality, but his underdeveloped brain might never, at least on its own, have a little bit of scepticism about what "being truly a girl" even means. He just can't put two and two together like most people his age can, nor he has the curiosity of learning beyond what he knows because he lacks the brains for it.

So, we can't really blame Jazz if he doesn't speak against what happened to him, because he doesn't understand it. He believes trans kids have been cured like he is in the same way a child is convinced the tooth fairy is real. Their brains can't function beyond what their parents have told them and faked for them to believe: money is been left here, my parents said it was a fairy, so there is a fairy. He was told about the Vagina Fairy, for god's sake. He's that underdeveloped. There are others who managed to step out the lunacy and realized they were misguided into ruining their bodies, but Jazz ain't one of those people.
