What's the most frustrating thing about this is that it's perfectly legal to make your own guns. 100% Completely legal. You can go out, buy a small forge, and cast all the metal parts you need for a gun, assemble it, and fire it, without violating a single law.

But if it's made out of plastic? Oh, well, let's make that illegal!

Fucking retards.
Leftist states have made it illegal to purchase or manufacture parts that could be assembled into banned assault weapons. Their definition of assault weapon covers rifles with detachable magazines, rifles with threaded barrels, and all rifles and handguns with attachment points for banned assault weapon accessories such as suppressors and folding stocks. (ban, definitions)

Edit: Federal law requires firearms dealers to comply with the laws of the state you have ID for, so people behind the lines in leftist states can't buy guns in other states either.

TESgroids are going to spaz out over Blumpf immediately reinstating the tariffs for the next ~24 hours then move onto the next thing. Very predictable people.
Well they are already saying it was all a distraction for the epstein files showing trump was a pedo. For really real this time pinky promise. Ted Lieu, that fat retard, said he had them and he would never lie! He can't show them because... he just can't.

I don't think people realize how bad this ruling from the Supreme Court is. This HAS to get overturned or buried into oblivion. This should be a declaration of war against the Supreme Court by the Trump admin. They cannot allow this to stand. Trump's tariffs are only the tip of the iceberg. What happens next President who's maybe far weaker than Trump when it comes to tariffs and military?

Here's a fun example, imagine Biden 2.0 got in. That's it, thats the end of America right there. If you get a weak, feckless President, the rest of the world now has the means to just run an absolute train on them.
That's the problem. 'both sides' want the other side weak when they're not in power, so they do all they can do weaken everything. It's just team sports hatred in this country forever. The only ones that win when that goes on? The crowd ie the rest of the world.

I don't want a dem to do whatever either, especially shit like banning guns or whatever. But when it comes to using economic or even military strength people are too stupid to realize we have to be united. The only time we really have been on even that since WW2 was a few months after 9/11. Then back to the bickering.

ETA it's better than this at least: https://notthebee.com/article/canad...here-are-only-two-genders?from_social=twitter

Canadian tribunal fines man $750,000 for believing there are only two genders

He still has to get authority from them because the law states that.
what you're misunderstanding is it goes like this.

trump, the president, tells him what he wants approval for.
his cabinet gives it.
he enacts it.

if you think he didn't already have this conversation YESTERDAY with them in preparation for this decision not going their way, you're retarded.

do you never plan ahead for things that might go wrong in your life? do you just assume everything will go peachy keen and have a spergout when they don't?

Ted Lieu,
his claim is literally that one of those insane accusations against trump and a hundred other people that the FBI could find literally zero evidence of is true, and that every newsmedia organization should run the allegations as fact.

like, unironically, his claim was that the insane druggie who had been constantly in jail over the years and was a known cartel asset was somehow raped by trump and epstein. and then she died because she was involved with drugs and the cartel. he called for the DOJ to visit the witnesses. they did. they found absolutely no evidence of anything. that's why she was deemed not credible, lieu, you stupid dicksucking faggot.

If you get a weak, feckless President, the rest of the world now has the means to just run an absolute train on them. BRICS could come back in full force and have an actual impact this time, as a quick example. The EU could decide to extract revenge for all that revenue that went missing during the Trump admin. Canada? Oh fuck, Canada would demand double what they were getting. Sure, there's an argument these things COULD'VE happened anyway, but now they don't really need our approval. They can just do it and they probably will.
It’s an especially terrible ruling because it gives nothing for the lower courts to work with. They will just have to make up bullshit in regards to whether refunds will happen or not. It might be the worst ruling in recent history.

No. Even with Bronze Age relics, if something was made with an unknown tool, or unknown input, it becomes much, much harder to figure out how to make it. A good example is "how did they build the pyramids?" is still a matter of debate.

With a smartphone, to figure out how to make one, the Romans would have to:
  1. Invent an electron microscope to look at the CPU to figure out it's not just magic
  2. Discover quantum physics to invent an electron microscope
  3. Discover the electron and photon
  4. Discover chemistry and electricity so they can discover the electron
  5. Achieve a basic understanding of light so they can discover the photon
  6. Discover semiconductors
  7. Discover classical physics so they can discover quantum physics
  8. Invent calculus
  9. Invent statistics
  10. Invent algebra
  11. Invent the Cartesian plane
By the time they've done all that, centuries have passed, and so much has changed due to this technologies and discoveries that they're not "the ancient Romans" any more. Even if we gave the Romans something that didn't require a microscope, like a Model T, they still wouldn't figure out how to make one because they'd have to invent the blast furnace and the moving assembly line, none of which discoverable from the materials and parts.

This is why we haven't been able to reverse engineer the alien space ships we shot down yet.

behold; the roberts court.

this will end up back at him again in a year, just like every other terrible decision they've made that made the lower courts think they were bigger than they are, and then they had to go NO, ACTUALLY, THAT WAS RETARDED, THIS IS THE REAL DECISION.

roberts, in his eternal quest to 'depoliticize' the court, has destroyed its basic function.

I'm sure he has had those conversations already but even then the legal process takes way longer than a couple of hours, people aren't kidding when they say you guys only care about the immediacy of an action without even thinking about how long it takes, our processes are slow.
By law these organizations HAVE to open up an investigation into the legitimacy of a national security threat claim before they are allowed to even think about authorization.

you are a moron.

he had the conversations with how to handle this with them yesterday or before. they drafted all the necessary documents, or had a quick draft that they could edit any pertinent details of right away. as soon as they got the decision, they all signed and submitted their paperwork. that is what i am assuming was done.

do you have any evidence that this wasn't what was done? you're the one making the claim that he simply can't have done this. why don't you back that up, you fucking idiot? i'm saying that he and everyone else were ALREADY ready to hit the submit button on these documents, so that if a bad ruling was made, they could get it in place instantly, or within an hour or so. you're pretending trump has to write snail mail to them to inform them of what he wants, they have to send the same snail mail back and acting like he hasn't had MONTHS to prepare for this. what is the legal process you are citing that w ill cause this to take whatever indeterminate amount of time you're claiming?

yes, those processes, when they are first initiated, take longer than a few hours. good thing he spent many many hours prior to this seemingly preparing for this decision. and even if the fucking tariffs take an hour or two to be put back into place... so what? what does that change? what does that matter? is that the own on trump? that he had a four hour span missing SOME of those tariffs?

if he has the assurance of his people, why does it matter if it takes a day or so, or hours, or however the fuck long this short period of implementing the new version of the tariffs will be? what is the end outcome of that that makes it different from the end outcome of simply ruling in his favor in this context?

Jesus fucking christ you people are retarded sometimes. The department of commerce is required to by law have a formal investigation into the legitimacy of claims about threat to national security or trade and have documents detailing how those products effect our industries, before they can authorize new section 232 tariffs.
Take for example french cheeses, tariffs for those likely wouldn't pass an investigative check BECAUSE it would not harm any of our industries.
And this isn't even getting into the fact that companies are allowed to request exclusions to the tariffs implemented for the sake of stuff that isnt produced locally

Nigger I'm not ignoring it. If there's laws for permanent tariffs, why the fuck didn't he use THAT one?
I don't have the document that lays it out on hand, but someone else might. The president has the power to impose something called a schedule, which functions like a tariff by another name. Trump played with it in January-February of 2025 but decided to go with teriffs because they were more legally defined, as I understand it. It was another one of those, "Congress granted the power forever ago and no one has ever used it. But it's there" sorta situations. Give me a little bit and I'll try to find a source of no one else has it.

ETA: nevermind, I'm retarded. It's another temporary measure, kinda. He has the ability to change already existing teriffs rates under the HTSUS. But it would only be for a year and it would still be able to be modified by Congress. Sorry for jumping the post gun, but I swear they talked about another method last year. I'm going to go digging again.

I really don't know how to communicate to you that those things very likely could have been checked off in the past several months already. You are a mentally handicapped retard who can't comprehend people planning ahead. Please continue embarrassing yourself.

It will never be overturned, and we will 100% get Biden 2.0 in 2028. We are witnessing the beginning of the end of America right now and this thread is too fucking retarded to see how awful this decision is.
