Chicago is one of those ultra shithole cities where the street gangs outnumber the cops 100 to 1 and everyone knows it.

Crushing the gangs would require the national guard at a bare minimum and there is no way in fuck he has the balls for that.

Fun fact, the Bears bought a racetrack called Arlington Park (in Arlington Heights IL, a northern suburb) and tore it down to make way for their "new" stadium and entertainment district that was supposed to be a destination spot.

Soldier Field (where the Bears currently play) is a nightmare to get to, hasn't been upgraded in decades, and has one of the smaller capacities iirc.

The Bears at this point are just pitting 3 cities against each other to see who gives them the most.

I also read somewhere the current stadium is in a really ghetto area and there's tons of bad publicity from fans attending the games getting raped and murdered by the locals.

To be fair to Chicago and the surrounding area, they do have a lot of biotech and enertech companies working in the area or based there. I'm not saying Chiraq is coming back or whatever, but there's more to the city (right now) than a sportsball team.

Just fucking imagine getting a call at work that your kid is dead because their BPD teacher had them playing in the road as a teenager

All that teaching them to stay out of the road since they were a toddler rendered ineffective because they needed your kid to validate them

Is basically a miracle chemical for agriculture - it's the company's business practices and tendency to extort farmers that's been the biggest problem with it. Monsanto (or is it Bayer now?) sells Roundup-resistant seed that can spread to other farms by wind and then they sue the shit out of farmers found to be selling the grown products. Or at least they used to and that's what turned most ppl in the know against them.

They just took Virginia and the steamrolling thru everything they ever wanted. They care about local but if they can get power to take out Trump while he is weak and kill MAGA they will. We don't need yet another limp dick conservative movement that gives up more Ted Cruz types. We need a populist movement that will actually use government power to enforce American values. We need a group of republicans that rule like democrats.

Actually that is a pretty big point here: were parents even told their kids would be going out of school to protest? Were the kids even given a choice?

Shit, they wanted porn in the libraries and not tell the parents or even allow them to complain at all. So I highly doubt they knew or could stop it if they did.

This is also why the left jizzes hard for each school shooting, they love that'll it help their agenda.

Public school is the biggest anxiety I have as someone with kids and it’s a major driver in my decision to leave my beloved New Hampshire.

As much as there’s a good freedom vibe and accessible reps who will maximally torture bad democrats with bad democrat ideas, the public school system is extremely resistant to feedback and they’re hamstringing the teachers from being able to push back on shit that’s clearly an overt distraction, like furfag tails and whatever
