New York City seems to be having issues with AI-generated "takeover" fliers being put all over the place.

On February 16, 500 youths stormed through Bronx Mall in "Bay Plaza Takeover" this afternoon, resulting in multiple individuals being detained.



NYPD at the Kings Plaza Mall on February 17, after a flier promoting another takeover was spread online. Some groups were blocked from entering.

This commenter has no idea what he’s talking about and has never been to Rhode Island.

Rhode Island is the smallest state by area but the second most densely populated, combining the worst characteristics of Boston and New York into something redneckish but Italian.

This is standard parenting in Rhode Island, where people are massive assholes but the good news is you’ll drive through the whole state in 15 minutes on I 95

Lol If you're not from here, Kings Plaza mall is a shithole in the middle of a legitimate ghetto neighborhood. I haven't been there since the late 80s / early 90s and it was already beyond help at that point. I'm almost sure this isn't even a protest but just another excuse for black kids to run buckwild as usual. I feel for those cops. I remember that mall being called "Plaza of the apes" lol.

Also for you non-new yorkers or new yorkers who are millenials or younger, Kings county is the actual name for brooklyn. So Kings Plaza mall is in Brooklyn. Same thing if you have to go to serve jury duty - you have to go to the kings county court house.

When I was a kid the 5 boroughs were always known as:

Queens County
Kings County (Brooklyn)
The Bronx
Manhattan
Richmond (Staten Island)

Lol I can still hear the TV commercials with the announcer rattling off the borough names at the end for local businesses that served all the boroughs. "This offer good in Kings, Queens, Manhattan, The Bronx, and Richmond". Man I feel old.
