She’s been the head of DC’s employment services for nearly 8 years. I think that’s qualified for an organization management role. Though this is probably an off ramp for her since Mayor Bowser isn’t seeking reelection.

I'm honestly puzzled by the fact that any of these lefty politicians are even engaging with this Muslims vs dogs thing. It's kind of glorious because shitting on either one is poison for their base and the vast majority of old white women they are trying to court prefer dogs to Muslims. Honestly just add petting a dog for 5 minutes to the bacon cheeseburger citizenship requirement.

As for Iran, none of us want a ground war and I will be pissed if we get in there but it's so fucking tiresome to come on here and watch people act like Iran is not an issue. Trump is the first president in my lifetime to degrade Chinas support network and if we can do that with some bombing sorties to reduce the issues in the straight of hormuz and degrade China that's ideal. Will they become an ally? I have my doubts but it is possible I guess.

Lastly I couldn't tell you if it's minimum wage hikes or the fact that we have 2 fucking food distribution companies that have an ISP tier monopoly in this country but fast food is dead because I used to go there and spend 5 bucks and get food. I can't get a sandwich for that now. I can get a box of 4 pizzas at costco for the price of a single meal at taco bell. If I buy a pack of ribeyes and a bag of potatoes and grill them it's less per person to eat, healthier, and far tastier. I occasionally grab it as a treat if I'm driving across the country to see family.

Thanks for coming to my rant no one asked for. Fuck Muslims, Fuck Iran, and learn to cook. Also buy a gun while you're at it. SGammo is still honoring 2025 prices they email me every 3 days.

Wendys just made some boneheaded marketing decisions. Their whole thing was trying to appeal to boomers in the 1970s and 80s who wanted an 'old fashioned hamburger' that was premium quality. IIRC they priced them higher than McDonalds but they gave you more burger for the money, fresh, never frozen.

They WERE, back when they were popular because they were affordable bar food and you finally had a choice other than pickled eggs and peanuts.

But now the price of wings is subsidizing your relatively cheap boneless skinless breast package, because demand for sauce saturated effluvia got high enough to shift the pricing scheme.

Ultimately it’s not a case where like, supermarkets actually just try to screw you for the biggest possible margins, the whole business model is actually kinda marginal

So to maximize their profits, the chicken farm sells as many wings to restaurants as they’ll buy, and packages legs and breasts separately to sell to supermarkets

Supply and demand pressures permeate the entire system. The restaurant sells you wings at the rate you’ll buy them, and they buy them at the rate they can get them to float the chicken farm

Is the restaurant screwing you, then? Not really, they’re just remarkably inefficient

This is also why anti meat people are retards. Chickens eat excess corn and other crops deemed to be too low grade for human consumption, and whatever naturally occurring insects are around.

Meat is a form of recycling

Lady its not bizarre or strange to me. you have a once great city overpopulated by savage primitive minded people and a demographic that despite what people say about "hurtful stereotypes" loves fried chicken. They also have no concept of cleanliness or decency to keep the environment nice and orderly.

This does not require any serious science to understand this. I foresee every city and eventually town in this country overrun with chicken bones in the near future.
