The history of the Radio Shack computer:

https://youtube.com/watch?v=r2Tq8jdS6mY
Kinda interesting, good throwback to his original format where he just covered the history of hardware. Some of the first videos I saw on Adrian's Digital Basement were his TRS-80 repairs. I remember the floppy drive just always kept spinning even without a disk in there, and was on mains voltage.
One of my earliest experiences with programming as a young child was on a trashpicked CoCo 3 in like 1998. Someone had thrown it and a C64 out and I picked them both up. My parents threw both out when we moved but I still spent a significant amount of time working through the CoCo's manual and learning BASIC like it was 1979 and I didn't have a disk or tape drive lol

Not too long after, I got my own PC with internet access which meant I could actually download and install dev tools so I could learn actual modern languages but the CoCo is still the system where I wrote stuff like simple shape drawing programs or blackjack.

So despite being a younger millennial, I actually do owe my career trajectory somewhat to the CoCo.

Sorry for off-topic posting, I just wanna bring this to your attention that SerpantZA also made a retro computing channel.
He's gonna use old (retro) hardware to produce videos (and talk about retro tech) on this one.
I'm not entirely surprised, as Winston seems to have always been a lowkey vintage tech enjoyer. He has that VHS tape intro on his main channel, and he did a collab of sorts with RMC (back when it was still RetroManCave) and Naomi Wu (remember her?).

So the Youtoob algorythm saw fit to share me this channel.

...At least it's a real woman and not a troon.

I really can't take either of those two women seriously.

"Silicon Siren" sounds like an OnlyFans creator's name, and what little I could stomach of the one video of hers I watched was surface level content. We're talking Lady Decade or Nostalgia Nerd levels of depth. I guess some dudes out there thirst after chicks who look like Sarah Jessica Parker.

As for Sayaka... dressing like an Instathot does nothing for her credibility, even though it does seem like she kinda knows what she's doing. She could dress like The 8-Bit Guy and still attract an army of horny middle-aged paypigs.

That person is setting off my troondar. Anyone else?

Jeri Ellsworth

Jens Schönfeld (of individual computers, a german guy that's been making Amiga hardware since after it's fall and before retro was in) made some bad experiences with her IIRC, but he's sort of an unreliable narrator sometimes. That said I remember hearing various mixed to bad things about her, but tbf I don't really remember.

Got that vibe from the thumbnails when youtube started pushing her to my frontpage a few months back, but after watching one of the videos I think that was a false alarm. Not hearing the usual troon vocal quirks or seeing an adam's apple, hands aren't enormous, mannerisms seem natural.

I would've been more likely to watch if youtube had been showing these earlier videos where she's wearing a sensible t-shirt and doesn't have her midriff out in the thumbnail.

adam's apple
I'm actually not sure if there is one or not. I think what bothers me is that the person in question only seemingly wants to be seen from one specific perspective (which is an old troon staple, because from any other perspective the illusion collapses) and you also don't see the person really "move around" much. I think I saw some video where this Sayaka was touring some place and always stayed suspiciously off the camera, which feels out of character for your average female influencer. It's almost as if like the person didn't want people to see them moving which as we all know, is usually a dead giveaway even on the twinkiest of troons.

Then again I haven't watched any videos more than skipping through them for a few moments so actually be a woman and I might be completely wrong, but I'm 50/50. Women in this hobby are always suspicious by default. XX chromosome usually simply does not care about the history of computing.

Post more retro tech bimbos please.

There's that deaf Amiga woman who dressed up like Cammy from Street Fighter a lot of people used to salivate over. You can probably google it. That was a while ago, wonder if she's still around. She was a bit ahead of her time, when she was known in these circles instathots weren't really a thing yet.
