Gentlemen and (allegedly) ladies of Kiwi Farms, by being here I'm sure we're all very educated on the Incel-to-Trans pipeline. However, I have an interesting theory I'd like to propose that goes a little further, that I have dubbed the Troon-to-ruin pipeline. In King's English, it consists of this: Any trans person placed into a position of power will eventually turn their community into their personal autocratic brothel. It's worth noting that this pipeline is not just relegated to Discord, but can extend to imageboards, forums, or any community based in the Internet.

Let's discuss the basic flow of how this pipeline goes.
  1. A trans person enters your community.
Dave is a member of the official Sonichu's Grand Adventure Community Discord, which is run by Mark, the community manager for Sonichu's Grand Adventure. One day, a new member joins - Their name is Amanda, and they're a self-identified MtF Transgender. The community is cordial and treats Amanda with the same respect they'd treat any other human being. Dave doesn't have any issue with Trans people - In fact, Dave hasn't ever met a Trans person before at all - and he interacts with Amanda just like everyone else. They're a little weird, but it's nothing of real consequence.

  2. The distant leaders of your community virtue signal.
Unbeknownst to Dave or anyone else in the Community Discord, the server owner Mark makes some vague statements in passing, mentioning that Sonichu's Grand Adventure is a game for men, women, children, and anyone else who wants to play it. Amanda is overjoyed, and tells all their trans and ally friends that Sonichu's Grand Adventure is a game for Trans and Enbie folx by showing off Enbychu, a brand new heckin' wholesome supporting character that may be trans. Amanda's friends Lillith, Clara, and other MtFs all pile into the Sonichu's Grand Adventure Community Discord. Mark is stoked that his server is getting so much attention, but he's going to need more moderators. Dave is a little nonplussed by the sudden trans influx, but it doesn't bug him too much. Lillith and Clara are also weird, and Dave thinks Clara's taste in pornography is a bit public for his liking. But it's just one person, right?

  3. Trans people assume a position of power.
With Amanda and co. spreading the good word about Sonichu's Grand Adventure to their corner of the Internet, the Community Discord needs a new team of moderators. Mark needs someone who's on often, knows a lot about the game, and gets along with everyone. After some deliberation, he picks Amanda: Amanda meets all the criteria as an unemployed, terminally online loser whose autistic hyperfixation is Sonichu's Grand Adventure. Dave knows a lot about Sonichu's Grand Adventure as well, but unlike Amanda, he has a job, and can't always be around to maintain the peace. As such, the decision is clear.

  4. Infestation.
Within weeks, the Sonichu's Grand Adventure Community Discord has a moderation staff that's 90% trans people. Amanda now runs the Sonichu Community Discord with an iron fist, and anyone who doesn't agree that Enbychu is a trans icon(despite the developers making no concrete statements either way) are banned by Amanda personally or one of their cronies. Clara has started an NSFW channel for no explicable reason, and posts there nearly hourly. One day, Dave makes an off-hand remark about how Sonichu's arms have always been skin colored, and Lillith gets mad, saying that Sonichu's arms have ALWAYS been yellow. Dave tries his best to de-escalate, but Lillith is both A) Autistic and B) on a cocktail of anti-depressants and HRT, making him prone to emotional outbursts. Dave is banned for "Transphobia" shortly afterwards, after Dave says "dude calm down". The ban is final.

  5. Ruin.
The Sonichu's Grand Adventure Community Discord is now a transgender haven, and anyone who does not suck girlcock unconditionally is banned outright. Clara starts uploading a concerning amount of Loli/Shotacon porn and some custom-commissioned art of in-game characters that are minors. Mark is in it deep now: His community that started as a quiet get-together for people who played Sonichu's Grand Adventure is now a hotspot for trans people, pedophiles, and groomers. He's had some concerned DMs from users saying that one or even multiple of the moderators are trying to groom minors in the server. He can't outright disown the moderation team, because it would torpedo his game's reputation. He also can't seem to get rid of these damn trannies and the filth that they bring in with them. Mark can't risk the reputation of Sonichu's Grand Adventure by getting rid of the entire moderation team, but he's now in a great amount of controversy - The kind that ends in prison time.
Does that sound like any community you know of? Of course it does, you're on KiwiFarms!

With the outline explained, let's talk about prevention strategies you can employ as a community member or community server/forum/etc. owner.

How to prevent this pipeline if you are an owner:
Obviously, the most straightforward fix is to simply be anti-trans. If you don't invite the beast in, it won't harm you. Now, you may be part of a community that does not allow for that for marketing or other reasons, and to which end I recommend employing EXTREME CAUTION in your selection of any form of moderation. Anyone who is taking under-the-counter or even black market drugs to change their body irreversibly may not be a solid judge of character, or create conflicts of interest in your community. And of course, anyone who has watched so much porn that they've deluded themselves into thinking they're the opposite gender are likely not much better. You may not have many good choices, but if this person is openly transgender, a great place to start is to ask them what made them realize they were trans - This gets the ball rolling towards an answer you may not like. Many trans people only started believing this delusion because of things like peer pressure, incorrectly diagnosed mental conditions, porn addiction, or no reason at all. If their answer is anything other than "My doctor says I have a chromosomal disorder", it's basically disaster waiting to happen.
At Stage 2, Mark makes a few comments regarding Enbychu's vague non-gendered status, and Amanda squees over trans representation. Mark recognizes that maybe he went a little bit too far, and quickly reconfirms(After talking with the game developers) that Enbychu is in fact biologically female, but trans people are still welcome to play Sonichu's Grand Adventure. There is a brief outcry on Xitter about "Transphobic game developers" by a few of the more vocal lunatics, and then everything returns to normal. When Amanda invites their friends to play, Clara and Lillith call it a "transphobe game made by bigots" and do not approach.
Mark doesn't say anything about trans rights at all, intentionally remaining ambivalent about whether or not Sonichu's Grand Adventure's development team is pro-trans. Trans people come and go, but Mark tries to keep the amount of actually trans moderators to a minimum, recognizing the signs of the pipeline. That, and he really fucking hates trannies.

How to prevent this pipeline if you are a community member:
Lol, lmao. Realistically, there is very little you can do, outside of just avoiding hotspots of Troonery altogether. Thankfully, there is always an option if you have found yourself in a community that's aggressively trans: Make your own community space without trans people. If you want to totally avoid transgenderism in your community, I would heavily encourage looking into ways to turn it into an IRL event - The only thing a trans person seems to hate more than people not giving them the asspats they want is direct sunlight.
After getting banned, Dave makes his own Sonichu's Grand Adventure Unofficial Community Discord, and sets firm guidelines about freedom of speech. This turns some people away, concerned that it's going to become a haven for people who are based less respected members of their community. However, despite a few scrapes, Dave's Unofficial Community Server flourishes, and Mark sometimes swings by to ask for advice on situations in the Official Community Discord. Amanda joins, recoils from the rules, and promptly bans and blocks anyone who is in both servers.
Dave also is one of the founding members of the Sonichu's Ground Adventure meetup, where various players are encouraged to meet IRL and Zap To The Extreme!(within reason). This encourages many players who would otherwise remain inside to feel sunlight and wind on their faces, and overall is a resounding success. One of Amanda's cohorts shows up, and after making a scene, is requested to leave.

How to prevent a late-stage infestation:
The most dangerous concept to a person who is delusional is the truth, or a variation of the truth they don't agree with. Basically, you have to either make it clear that trans people are not special, or otherwise ensure that they are regularly exposed to ideas outside their space on equal ground as their own. Here's an example:
Back at Stage 3, Mark recognizes that Amanda is definitely qualified, but also recognizes that Amanda may not be totally impartial. As a result, Mark also appoints Dave as a moderator with equal privileges. Dave may not be on as much, but Dave is impartial and will ensure that Amanda can't run the server however they want. Amanda makes a few trans memes that mock the death of a cisgendered person, and Dave takes Amanda aside and tells them not to do that. When the server grows again, Dave recognizes that Amanda is recommending a number of trans people to the moderation staff, and rightly recognizes this as a conflict of interest, not to mention that Clara shared cropped porn in the general discussion last week. Lillith and Clara are not made moderators.

Discuss various aspects, contributing statements, or anything you think agrees or disagrees with this statement. I will also take questions to corroborate my theory.

Seen something similar in art communities... the trannies show up, take it upon themselves to backseat mod and police everyone else, fill up every channel because they are chronically online, make it into the moderation, next thing you know your casual art discussion group has turned into a hotspot for a troon cult where they shit up every channel with their degeneracy and try to groom younger members into their polycule. Which they won't shut up about all these sex parties and degeneracy.
They don't even post or make art for the most part and when they do its mediocre tumblr crap related to lgbt bullshit. Most of the time they just get involved into endless drama.

Some communities that come to mind are GDQ and Minecraft
GDQ's rise and fall should be studied by a team of experts. It's phenomenal what bending over backwards for trans people did for speedrunning.
FNV has been allegedly co-opted by troons but I have never ever encontered an FNV troon online! Curious!
That's because the real hardcore troons play FO76 instead.
In all seriousness, I think that New Vegas can't really be co-opted by troons at this stage because the Gamebryo engine uses human souls for processing power. I can't even begin to count the number of projects that have been started, put on hiatus, and inevitably cancelled from the sheer strain of using one of the worst development kits in recorded history. That, or due to the extremely apolitical nature of FNV, there is no dominant ideological community(See: Sneedclave revolt and Fallout: The Frontier backlash)

A good defense against rogue mods as an owner is to have strict term limits (3-6 months) and never allow them to select their replacements. Not a perfect solution, but this makes it a lot harder for a powertripping clique to form.

Is what happened to Guilty Gear after the Bridget retcon an example of this phenomenon?
Yes, as showcased by stage 2 of the pipeline. In essence, this is a smaller part in the machine of "Go woke, go broke" that many media holders strap to their head like a SAW trap for unknown reasons. an attempt to maximize shareholder value by hopping on trends that ultimately divide their fanbase because as outlined above, Troons Ruin Everything.

Pretty solid idea. However, moderation is not a very popular position to hold, which means rotating your staff either requires a gigantic pool to choose from or people who don't want to do the job that are forced into doing it, which is a recipe for disaster.

It is the new age version of this story.....

Back in 2020, a writer named Michael B. Tager wrote a few tweets about his time at a dive bar in his native Baltimore.

While he was enjoying an after work beer he noticed the bartender booting out a seemingly quiet patron. This patron was wearing a jacket covered in Nazi symbolism.

When Tager asked about why he booted the guy, the bartender, a seasoned pro, said that if you let one Nazi in, slowly they replace the clientele.

“You have to nip it in the bud immediately,” he said, as Trager paraphrased. “These guys come in and it's always a nice, polite one. And you serve them because you don't want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after a while, they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.”

“And then THEY bring friends and the friends bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh *****, this is a Nazi bar now,” he continued. ”And it's too late because they're entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.”

You can literally replace nazi with tranny and bar with online community and it's a perfect match.

That's because trannies are the closest thing we have to nazis in modern times, both in terms of intolerance and in terms of danger to society.

This is basically the rule and not the exception with Reddit and how it works.

I don't believe that slurs are in of themselves an inherently good thing, apart from being humorous in a juvenile way at times, but I'm not bothered by them either. I think a policy of open tolerance for slurs acts as an effective moat against these unpaid totalitarian troon types; I can casually say nigger, faggot, tranny, groomer, kike, retard, etc. all I want and you can say it back to me and no matter how much they report our comments, they will get nothing for it. Their powerlessness to police language will become intolerable to their already fragile egos and they will leave.

I would reckon that a lot of these communities that get wrecked were all left-leaning hives to beginning with.

I remember Simtropolis let an awful lot of things slide even back 15 years ago. I wonder what the community is like now.

This is less a "community" and more a small friend group, but the "allowing a troon in leads to ruin" happened in a SplatSource (Splatoon and GMOD/SFM) friend group I documented in this post and somewhat matches with the points made in the OP, a quick TL;DR of the post relative to the OP:
  1. A trans person enters your community: The trans person in question is called DemonJakie, and he (MTF) transitioned at age 13; he enters a friend group that does SplatSource art and drama reporting
  2. The distant leaders of your community virtue signal: Being a group that isn't "transphobic", they welcome him in and respect his pronouns and all that
  3. Trans people assume a position of power: They listen to DemonJakie and trust his word on who to bring in + his retelling of events (which ends up being a grave mistake)
  4. Infestation: DemonJakie suggest the friend group bring in two people the group considered pedophiles (with very good reason to think so), they object at first but eventually let them in because they trusted DemonJakie when he said they were "getting better" (technically the pedophiles weren't trans but I mean...)
  5. Ruin: One of the pedophiles DemonJakie brings in grooms one of the underage girls in the friend group, DemonJakie himself also gets exposed for something similar, also a lot of other drama related to DemonJakie being very manipulative
They "resolved" this drama by kicking out DemonJakie and everyone he brought in, but this all could have been avoided if DemonJakie was never brought in in the first place (a.k.a. if they were transphobic).

It's happened to a few of the facebook groups I'm in. Some have gone through the classic troon moderation team takeover. But they don't even have to get that far, just having them in a group that still has an "anything goes" moderation policy leads to the group centering around fights between the troons and the chuds. Which scares off normies and kills other types of content.
