Sorry if it's been posted before, I found a PhD dissertation for an English degree at UMass that spergs about the Jomhas. Pages 111-119 (122-130 in the PDF attached):

I may be mistaken, but I took this as Ian being snarky towards Ethan outsourcing more of the show towards his staff/talents.

Of-course Ian would pervert this into Ethan “giving up”.

Ethan, who is usually the star of his own podcast, broadcasting 3 (maybe more) shows a week and having to obviously be in attendance for his own podcast has now stepped back and decided to be less in attendance instead opting for his staff/talent to generate content and money for him while he lays around his home enjoying his wife and children.


You know, touching grass. Or whatever Ian is always crying about.

Meanwhile, Ian has to broadcast and stream several hours a day, everyday, just to make less than minimal wage.

Mind you - Ethan’s entertainment company on YouTube on the eps he’s not even there are still sponsored and the views are still over 150k each.

So it’s still a successful weekly show. He’s literally at home with his family as his business generates money FOR HIM

And Ian can’t take a single break from streaming because he needs every nickel and dime and still can’t break a minimal wage paycheck while working twice the hours.
