Ant is a reddit-tier journalist who iirc worked at CBR (Buzzfeed-tier content farm for nerdslop that is written by people who know nothing about said nerdslop to the point that they're basically a laughingstock in nerd communities) and is a Youtube video essayist who's been the punching back of the online nerd right for like 7-8 years by this point IIRC, so I'd suspect a lot of the subscribers are members of the Reddit Left who actually like the dude because he's (poorly) BTFO'ing the chuds and their opinions on nerd content. Apparently he's also trying to make a video on NuxTaku after Nikandros made his recent video about Nux, from what I can tell.

As sad as this is (and I wish him the best in moving on), this is a situation/scenario that isn't all that uncommon and it's absolutely because his own friends liked his wife and best friend better and/or his friends are tired of the pity party, and there could possibly be more to the story he won't let on.
Cheating is a shitty, awful thing to do to your partner and there's very little ways to justify such an action, so if you've exhausted the support of your own friend group as a victim of such a circumstance and they're somehow taking the side of the other party, your friends are either awful or they don't fucking care and don't want to get involved.
