The whole guilt trip at the end; "The only reason i'm giving you MY phone, is so I can stay safe" that's some classic addict gaslighting. Boss has absolutely NO shame.
 
Really seeing the dynamic currently in that house, there’s no doubt a relapse is on the way. It makes complete sense for the parents to be checked out because every previous rehab arc has ended with massive disappointment for them, so they’re not getting emotionally invested just to be crushed again when he does go back to drugs. But it’s a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy. 4 months clean from hard drugs, he’s still very fragile, so obviously enabling him would be bad for his sobriety. But at the same time, the toxic atmosphere in the house (to borrow from Professor DSP) will make him feel stressed and in a low mood, where all roads lead to Mr. Christmas. The healthiest thing at this point for everyone is for Austin to get into a sober living residence. A big issue is the lack of boundaries currently. You have a 60-year-old man babysitting his 30-year-old son, and he’s doing it from a position of frustration and anger, which is all wrong. Bossman is an adult; he needs to be the one to make the right decisions. It’s not fair to his parents to make them his drug minders, which is a role where natural resentment will occur and already seemingly has. Parents should be able to love their adult children without having to helicopter parent. Everyone ends up with better outcomes, when healthy boundaries are established.

To vault or not to vault, that is the question. Austin wants to withdraw but ratdad(asshole) has stolen his grown son's phone. It'll be safe in the vault for now... i dont think so, its always possible, but im not getting any crack vibes yet
he is even worse than before, if he took just 1 hit of crack i think it would be very obvious
just my opinion, i think hes fucked in the head and cant hide it, his face, jaw and eyes would be doing gymnastics again
some weed vibes yes, could be wrong on that but i do think hes toking, its what he did last time, started on delta-8
for some reason he just always seems to resist going to sleep, probably because his brain is always thinking about checking chat for a juicer

I think he has definitely tried to, at the very least, secure some weed. If you listen to that blow up fight he had a couple nights ago you can hear Austin say "What did I do?" Ratdad responds with "You know." and Boss says "Don't snitch."

Seems to me like ratdad caught him trying to pull some shit which is what led to him taking Austin's phone.
