Does anyone have any studies or articles about whether the obama era car emissions standards are actually bad
studies or articles done by the same propaganda machines that are run by globalists that hate you and want to make your kids trannies and lie to you all the time? no, don't be stupid
what you can look at are the laws that Obama passed. here's CAFE targets that were set by him in 2012. because there's a lot of things going on, here's a summary:
- each colored line going UP are the targets per year from 2012-2025
- the horizontal access is the size of the vehicle. by the helpfully placed car labels, you can see what about size car the rules apply to
- the vertical access is MPG
these are fleet averages so a car maker can have some wiggle room, but according to this graph below a vehicle the size of a Honda Accord is supposed to be getting 54 MPG as of last year, up from 32 MPG in 2012. what does a regular old ICE Honda Accord get as of 2025? 32 MPG combined city/highway
however, there are rules in place that both say EVs "equivalent" gas usage is much better than traditional ICE cars AND EVs can have multipliers towards the fleet average. so if you make an EV it might be counted as getting 80 MPG and each car you produce counts as 1.5 cars with 80 MPG towards your fleet average
the demands that CAFE standards put on car companies are physically impossible to meet with ICE cars. it is only possible by the government forcing EVs on car companies which trickles down to car companies forcing EVs on their customers. also, the graph below also shows that the larger the car is the more lenient the MPG rules are. that's a large reason why cars today are so much larger and expensive than they need to be, in addition to safety features that increase size and cost that are required by the same people who run the CAFE standard rules
all of this is an obvious ploy to force EV cars on the general public against their will. which is part of forcing people into 15 minute cities and removing the average person's access to being able to drive away from niggers and trannnies and other globohomo pets that are there purely to inflict terror on working class people
none of this is about emissions or the health of the environment. it never was. it's about control
