James Fishback Removed From Campaign Event, Threatened With Arrest by Florida State Troopers
He looked like he hadn’t showered in a week. His hair was matted and dirty
In what appears to be another shameless act to draw attention to himself and his so-called gubernatorial campaign, James Fishback attempted to crash Lt. Governor Jay Collins' weekend rally in Hillsborough County, but was quickly escorted out by Florida Troopers after receiving a trespassing warning.
During an encounter with troopers and Collins' campaign security detail, a not-so-gubernatorial Fishback raised his voice and questioned why he was not being allowed into the event. When told to leave the private property where the Collins campaign had sole permission to hold its event, the 31- year-old Fishback began using 4-letter expletives in defiance of his removal by law enforcement and called someone a "Fat slob."
Fishback has also questioned Rep. Byron Donald's (R) gubernatorial campaign, referring to him with racial slurs like "By'rone" and calling him a "Slave to donors."
Here, the trooper is seen having to take hold of Fishback as he is being escorted off the premises.

Fishback was warned that if he set foot back on the property he would be arrested. So, instead of running the risk of being arrested, Fishback decided to stand out front of the venue in what appeared to be 2-inch healed shoes or boots, where one of the campaign rally attendees "thought he was a parking attendant."
Another attendee remarked on Fishback's overall appearance, stating, "He looked like he hadn’t showered in a week. His hair was matted and dirty, his clothing was wrinkled and stained. He looks like a guy living out of his car.”
According to John Cardillo, the campaign's senior advisor, Fishback showed up to the event with "four or five teenage boys" and was told to leave. In addition, Cardillo said he nor anyone else at the event felt "comfortable having him around young children."

“James Fishback, a 31-year-old man, showed up at our campaign event with four or five teenage boys. That alone begs questions. I made it clear to Fishback that neither he nor his entourage RSVPd to an event that was already over capacity, and that due to his history and the grooming allegations against him, even if it weren’t a political event, we did not feel comfortable having him around young children," said Cardillo in a statement to The Floridian. "We were not allowing him to disrupt our event, making families and young children feel uncomfortable."
Cardillo added, thanking "State Troopers for putting Florida’s children and families first, and escorting Fishback out of the event and into the gutter where he belonged.”
Fishback has been accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a minor child. Fishback has denied the accusation.
