Maybe not go full islam where they have no rights or protections, but could we at least keep them away from government and businesses so they stop trying to destroy them by only hiring diverse idiots or letting repeat criminals back onto the streets? Maybe just keep them away from important positions of power and have them set up areas they stay on seperate from men?

The entire West seemed to do a pretty good job of this, from Roman times up through about 1960. Pick your favourite location and time period, and women probably enjoyed the highest quality of living vs. anywhere on the planet, without letting their tardedness get out of hand.

It's a way to indoctrinate elite powers through trauma binding in order to keep them in line to keep the society going, usually by way of mystery schools, secret societies, or brotherhoods. Heavily militaristic/masculine societies like the Greco-Romans and the Ottomans practiced this for that reason. It was a good way to control kings and generals. Maybe the idea is to have a sweet spot or the perfect balance of masculine/feminine, or the Aristotelian "golden mean".
