He might've gotten one but as per my earlier amateur legal analysis I think he's probably fine. To prove defamation for a public figure a statement must be 1) false and 2) said with 'actual malice' (meaning, you knew what was said was false or acted with serious disregard for whether or not it was true). I don't think anything anyone has said or done in this situation other than Rowan meets both, and even then it's not a sure thing.

If he really needs to he can unironically do the Ethan Ralph legal strategy of going "Yah honor I'm just fuckin stupid" and be fine.

I would guess it's based on earlier conversations with Rowan about legal avenues she was pursuing. We've known she was in contact with a lawyer for a while, before she even posted here according to some of the texts Tom showed. If I had to guess she randomly stopped replying to messages too and that's the most likely reason for why.

With all of this having happened, what have you learned from this in terms of how to handle relationships/breakups (Not necessarily specifically with 'Famous' people, but just in general)? Since I'm kind of interested in what your take away from all of this is.

the way she portrayed the entire relationship was different than what was shown in TT video. she did the same to me as everyone here, sent me catered screenshots to prove her point and explained their relationship to me. About her knowing of him , again. i mistakenly gave her the benefit of the doubt that she really was some like sheltered cath girl who didnt have the internet til college. She told me that she had learned quickly after meeting him who he was but never told me she even slightly knew of him before. A lot of people i know do not know who TT is and so it just made sense to me. Idk what she expected the outcome to be for this since she was lying and knew he would respond at some point. It was obviously gonna backfire. Essentially, i really wanted her to be a genuine person and that ended up fucking me in the end.
