Anecdotally, most of the the pharmacy staff at the local CVS is Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and other Southeast Asians but no Jeets. It wouldn't surprise me if the H1-B work is for in house software development considering some of the technical issues I've encountered at CVS.
Maybe to see how bad the commercials and/or halftime show all turn out to be.

I might get backlash for this statement, but it's because it's a once-a-year event that's been around longer than most of us have been alive. Experiencing it in person might be even better for them. You got a lot of fans of the game, big fans too, with their favorite teams they grew up with, who are more than willing to pay that much to go in person to that event and share moments. Some people can only afford it once in their lives, so why not go to it?
I was saying this was going to happen years ago. As soon as we stepped into the zoomer-produced internet drama era the most common accusation was of grooming/sexting minors or something else. And while you say, "okay but those accusations were proven true", the issue is that people saw it as a way of getting clout to accuse people. So, much like #MeToo, calling people pedophiles became the new thing, and has only gotten worse much faster with the Epstein stuff being involved. While it's not a good thing that people grow to disbelieve accusations, it's inevitable the more of them come out that aren't able to be verified.

For my friends, its an excuse to get together, have some pizza and beer and watch football. Everyone can agree the quality has plummeted but its a free cultural spectacle.
It's the opposite -- this is a very healthy response to accusations until high-quality proof is provided. It's uncomfortable now but seeing these same morons grabbing nastier and nastier "labels" to try to hit their enemies with, only to have it stop working in short order because of how often everyone hears it ... well, it's fantastic. Society is healing in an unexpected way -- calling somebody a mean name or accusing someone of something awful is finally being met with reasonable voices saying "fucking prove it, then" instead of it turning into endless cancel culture.
