Hey, as long as it sends the message. Trump's team has to learn that "no Indians" is non-negotiable. I know it's him rewarding loyalty but it's going to cost more in the long run.

Arguably MAGA is in the middle to tail end of realigning the Republicans and the Democrats are under attack by the socialist/woke wing that's gunning for a hostile takeover. I don't expect a "collapse" but just a decade or so of dominance by the stable party while the other side jockeys for control internally. It's both a major boon and bane of a 2 party system, it can take a long while to get things to change since a 3rd party can't come in and rip the wheel away externally. I expect at least one term of JD Vance continuing the crush of immigrants both legal and illegal, and which group wins the Democrat seat determines how big of a shitshow we get afterwards.

A collapse of the government system is currently impossible without revolution, and depending on how that plays out it could be the dissolution of the USA. Amending the Constitution is virtually impossible due to how polarized the country is, and any claim to dictatorship is going to cause the other half to start shit. If Democrats drift into where the Overton window was dragged by MAGA, everything is hunky dory. If the socialist sect wins the fight for the party, I expect rough waters ahead.
