They'll probably bitch about Trump the same way people today bitch about Nixon and Reagan. That is, to use comparisons to him as a weapon to bludgeon their new foe with. They might even say things like "even Trump wasn't as deranged as this guy."
That said, I feel that Trump is the last stopgap before the real tyrant appears. There's always a guy who comes in before the real cataclysmic force appears. He operates within the laws, but is generally berated and stalled by the existing power structure, and ultimately fails. The established ruling class thinks they've solidified their grasp on the overall power structure, but, in reality, they've sent a message to the populace that mending the issues is impossible without violence. Then all it takes is a motivated member of the ruling class (either because they're afraid the existing structure will collapse, they're ambitious, or they have a shred of empathy for the rest of the populace), and they decide to ignite a rebellion.

If Trump fails by the end of his term, it's highly likely we'll see shit hit the fan in the following decade. The populace is too angry and the upper echelon is too isolated and out-of-touch that it's all but assured shit's going to hit the fan. It might not be instantly, but it's going to happen. Trump, ironically, most likely postponed it, but might have also redirected it in a way that will be beneficial once we get through the hard times.

Remind me of when that synthic guy sayed that futa is a form of ubermench
i think the funniest fucking thing about everything vivziepop-adjacent is that the central work of their canon is a show about LITERAL FUCKING DEMONS IN HELL

nothing shows their fiction to be more safe-edgy than to be centered around humanizing and making comedy of entities meant embody the worst evil conceivable to humans, but heaven fucking forfend you do a heccin wrongthink about current civic policy

it really shows how we've so normalized christian mythology that no aspect of it is allowed to be perceived with any teeth anymore
Oddly the best depiction of demons ive seen is from doom. No really. In doom lore it’s stated that the demons we fight in game are the twisted and soulless of remains of the species corrupted by hell. The species had their souls removed and their bodies were forced to roam hell until becoming the demonic forces.

No. Also, please don't actually take my shitposty suggestion to heart.*

I don't want your death on my soul.

*If you do, for the love of God and sunny Jesus, take a starlink and livestream your misadventures. Content is content, after all.
"The "kiwi barge" was lost just a little north of newfoundland to great media fan fare, its sinking is blamed soley on its financier and captain, StudMccool who was wholly inept at seafaring and apparently went down blaming the government, more at 5"

The best rule in current day political discourse came from 80s movie WarGames

The Only Winning Move Is Not To Play.

Don’t Play Their Games. Don’t Accept Their Hypotheticals. Don’t Try to Humanize Their Motivations. They Are Your Enemy.

(X) One thing that makes me happy about the incident with the black ICE agent is that it's now open season when it comes to words.

(X) Meanwhile, in Minnesota:

By the way, the account I linked posts tons of ICE videos without anything political like other people so it's a good source of videos if you just want to see Juanitos getting arrested.

I think it's a significant helping of moral relativism and the racism of lower expectations that are built up to be used against White people. "It was a different time and they didn't know any better." Is a major cop out that'll be used for past grievances (even if some of the atrocities continue to this day and thus should "know better," see slavery and Arabs). Essentially they're brown and their culture and grasp on science are unrefined, so of course they don't know any better, either that or it's back to the victim narrative where they arbitrarily draw a line in the sand right before White people came and rocked their shit being the cause of them all being retarded and just as fallible as everyone else. Only White men have agency, everyone else is merely a slave of their environment and upbringing. If it hurts White/Western hegemony, it's a valid strategy.

The fun one is how they try to justify USSR purges and the Ukrainian famine while still claiming the Nazis were absolutely in the wrong for doing similar evils with similarly stated justifications (propaganda).
That is quite an unintional Side effect of this kind of thinking. Basically babying non white cultures to the point were they are not responsible for their actions and making white cultures the center of the world.

Honestly I don't see a lot of moral justifications for the Mongols, but the Aztecs get sucked off and swept for solely because they were overthrown by whitey.

If the tribes Cortez convinced to destroy the Aztecs just did it themselves without rallying to him first, no one would defend the Aztecs. Just like how no one defends any of the other native tribes wiped out by each other. Only the ones killed by le ebil colonizers get sympathy.
Mongols were definitely sucked off by progressives a decade ago who would crow about how religiously and culturally tolerant they were, this has fallen off a bit though because of the sheer amount of Chinese and Muslims they killed and the lingering butthurt that remains about that.

Does anyone genuinely think a collapse is possible?
Something fucked up happening is always possible. The sun might send a mess of charged particles our way that'll knock out our power grid. A gamma ray burst might hit us square on and sterilize most of a hemisphere as it's been theorized to have happened in the past. Krakatoa could do it's thing again and block out the sun leading to wolven winters and crop failures. We've already had the leaked bioweapon scenario happen to us and we got lucky that it was just an omega level cold.

The current leadership of the United States are probably the best crew to deal with a major economic crisis hitting than any administration since Nixon.
