After the must-watch style prestream yesterday, today is a must-miss.

This nigger literally has like 4 topics he just loops on over and over. Literally everything he talked about today was just one of the handful of things he talks about over and over and over and over again. It's really no wonder he's losing his fucking mind. Just listening to the same exact monologues repeated ad nauseumwill make anyone want to jump out their window.

And he thinks he's going to do variety/talk shows for the next like 20 years!

Brother lives in a part of the country with perfect weather, it never gets too hot or too cold, barring a couple days in the year in bad years. Yet he still complains about the weather, all he needs is a fucking box fan to sahlve his problems.

Did Phil shit on TurkeyTom like he tried with ProJared? Because now he can't and it's too late. Would have been hilarious if he did and now had to take it back (which he wouldn't have done, ever).
Jared had what Phil so desperately desires, a very successful growing gaming channel and respect in the gaming community. And at the time, it seemed like Jared lost it all, so Phil could safely drunk on him, although Jared sort of recovered over time.

Tom is in a different lane and he's likely not going to lose anything since he posts lazy degenerate slop.

He is currently losing a set to a Silver-ranked Elena player, using Modern controls.

In the midst of his coping, we got this:

Yes, that's exactly what they call it, King!

Now, why would "slum" be on your mind when fighting against Elena? Interesting.

He definitely just checked to verify if Asmon had made fun of him, before his break. He gets so deflated when he sees it's true, too, you can tell! Lmao.

The awful haircut, missed goals, getting on LSF (twice), the massive crashout yesterday, the ban tracker, and now Asmongold (his new gaming soulmate) goes from not returning his texts to felting him on stream.

I would not want to be a bottle of Tanqgueray this week. Also seriously it's a fucking Q Phil not a G like do you not know how to pronounce it or did you just not bother to read the fucking label. You've been drinking it for probably two decades at this point. God you are stupid.

It's so weird how seriously he takes sf6 .
He always prided himself for that one tourney victory he had 20(?) years ago, so losing face because of his elderly fingers and reflexes not keeping up needs to be harshly dismissed as software or network issues. This is his jawb dood, are you stupid?

Phil needs to be better than you to feel good about himself. He's been projecting it a lot lately with how people bully him to feel better about themselves, but that's absolutely how he feels. It's why he puts so much stock into ranks in SF6 (and even demanded a proper ranking system in Mario Kart of all things) because it's an "objective" numerical way to prove he's better than whoever is below him. It's why he's so obsessed with his K/D in COD as well instead of, say, being first on the scoreboard. It's far easier to achieve with his low skill level and it can be easily wielded like a cudgel when people say he's not good at the game. Don't cap objectives at all, sit in a corner and kill 2 get 2 assists and die once? Wow dood 4.0 K/D. Must be better than the person at the top of the scoreboard capping objectives since he's only got a 1.81 K/D. Phil is better.
DSP does, however, also fundamentally misunderstand that Ranked in videogames is more of a metric for how much time you've spent playing it - there's a reason why there's rank resets in games. Rank inflation happens frequently if this is left unchecked and players naturally rise to the higher ranks because if you keep playing you will naturally accumulate more ranked points than most. It is true that if you are good you can rise through the ranks faster, but naturally you will level out due to how these systems work. A reset or a soft reset alleviates this and keeps the ranks somewhat meaningful until the next reset - this also has the added benefit of keeping people on the grind.

This is definitely a huge part of it for fighting games in general and Street Fighter specifically though. Dude just can't let it go that the average skill of players has gone up in the last 20 years (as it often does for games/sports) and he both hasn't improved and wasn't incredible to begin with.
