Apparently a strata has to allow caregivers, but I could see the strata board being like "His mom spoke for him at his court hearing."

Gotta wonder how many oldfags in the building are reading The Farms.

Says in shaking, wavering tone, "Sonny, I read all about you on Kiwi Farms and you are BAD NEWS!"

"I've read you are an L-O-L Cow. I don't know what that is, but it seems to be a very bad thing to be an L-O-L Cow"

Isn't his mom the caregiver for his aunt? So his mom that's a caregiver, needs a caregiver.

CAREGIVERCEPTION

How many bedrooms does the apartment have, and is there an occupancy limit?

Can someone refresh my memory about the name of Miriam's building?

All quiet on the Yaniv front, btw. Not sure what's going on. 🤔
His condo still hasn't been listed for sale, apparently:

(We're looking for condo 203, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.)

Also... I don't remember the finalized & signed Order For Conduct of Sale being posted in this thread, so here it is:

CAREGIVERCEPTION

From memory (via the police officers who attended and described the living arrangements) it’s a 2 bedroom apartment so Fatty could be housed if the gals bunk in together. There’s greater restrictions on dogs (2 small dogs maximum) than on people in a typical over 55 strata. Meow Mix reports that in this building the limit is 1 dog.

Yes yes we know that he’s banned from the building but the adult child / children exception and the caregiver exception in over 55 strata bylaws would be a legal counter argument. A successful Guardianship Application could see him become the sole carer of his mother and he could make an application on her behalf to the court to change his building access. This could, not would, cause a court to override his ban by placing other restrictions on the rights of ingress and egress. It could take months so he’s going to have to stall / obstruct the sale on his place. The strata might need to develop a more global Yaniv Management strategy.

Edit for facts and punctuation.

Damn, he might just get that. If Miriam‘s recent court performance is anything to go by, it shouldn’t be too difficult to convince a judge that she’s incompetent.

Jonny’ll have Mommy all to himself at that point. The horrifying image of him slowly, meticulously sponge-bathing her in bed comes to mind (the scene from the first episode of the Ed Gein series on Netflix after the mother has a stroke illustrates this beautifully). Especially since auntie will be shuttled off in her wheelchair into the closet with the cat box, made to face the wall, and blindfolded. Jon only remembers putting her there once the smell overpowers every other noxious odor in the hovel.

Someone really needs to notify the Strata, they probably not aware of the finer details of legal guardianship.

They could very easily have a court order forcing them to allow Stinky to reside.

She has power of attorney over him. He can't claim to be her caregiver.
He's admitted to being feeble minded and unable to make legal decisions./

Just to clear up a couple things above...

  • Miriam lives in PH4 in her building. It's a one-bedroom apartment and one of the smallest units on that floor. 580 sq ft or something. I'm pretty sure Miriam and the aunt sleep in the same bed.
  • Last time Jon was staying there, he was living on the balcony. He'd probably do that again until the strata kicks him out.
  • Before the property can be listed in the MLS, Alta West needs to sign with an RE agent, propose a listing/price and get approval from the court. I would think that will take a couple of weeks.
  • Miriam claimed she has POA over Jon. I have no idea if that's true, and honestly wouldn't believe it were. Jon and Miriam lie and probably couldn't "truth" their way out of a soggy wet paper bag. Also doesn't keep Jon from overriding her (if it's true).

I know there are other "actions" in the pipeline for our dearest little twatwaffle - but they exist in spheres outside the realm of MMOnline. Hopefully some of that comes to light and shows up here or on the twatter-verse.

Didn't he already try to move in with Miriam a few months ago and the RCMP showed up? I have a feeling he's not going to be permitted to live there no matter *what* the excuse.
His mistake was he tried to move in during the day, in the open.
Next time he will just sneak in at 3am and then yeah what you gonna do?

No matter what happens, this is not the end, there is still plenty of milk to harvest from this cow. Hopefully more and more crazy as things get more desperate.
I want to see what happens when the sheriff comes to finally evict him. Do they wear body cams in canada?

Some sort of Wonky sleeping arrangements are in their future.

Unfortunately for his fellow residents, my bet is he’ll find himself in a homeless woman’s shelter.

That will be even funnier
Johnny boy surrounded by actual crackhead prostitutes who don't give a shit about troonery, he can't sue them because there's nothing to take and he has to obey all the shelter rules or get kicked out
Yaniv is a flabby dude who has relied on a scootie puff and a cane whenever he leaves his pigloo that long that the type of battleaxes who end up in homeless shelters will eat him alive

It could potentially be the funniest outcome

Hopefully, some sixty year old hard ass battleaxe will kick his ass first day, there. When he goes to tattle, he'll get kicked out for being a nuisance. I've seen it happen in women's shelters. They do not play. You want to sleep during chores times, you choose to argue with the crazy who has been there well over the six month cutoff time, because she truly can't keep her own house with no structure, you do so much as bring a bag of potato chips into your shared bedroom, there will be an entire house of angry women breathing down your neck. And if you don't shower like you should, may God have mercy in your soul. They'll eat his ass up. But not in the way he wants.

ETA- I'm an American, but women's shelters are kind of ubiquitous. If they give him a room over some lady with two kids trying to get away from an abusive partner, though, I will legitimately be pissed off. There is a reason those shelters exist. We don't talk about it much, but they are critical.

Yaniv could be about to enter the Anne Frank arc, hiding from the Nazis under their very noses. How brave. How stunning. I look forward to the diary.
