First, Epstein was a prolific child sex trafficker for the rich and powerful, and needed to be arrested, but coincidentally, "killed himself" during Trump's first admin. Second, Epstein's "suicide" was alleged to actually be a murder carried out by the Trump admin to protect the rich and powerful child rapists who would have been sold out by Epstein. Next, Epstein's "situation" was quietly handled by the feds during Biden's admin. Epstein's case was mostly quiet during Biden's time in office, at least as far as Biden's feds are concerned.
Then, during Trump's 2024 reelection campaign, Epstein's case needed to be fully reopened and made transparent, because no administration in history has ever been as "true and honest" as Trump's. Trump's admin was going to release every Epstein file that existed, and oh boy did Trump's people claim they had piles of files on their desks. And why didn't the DEMOCRATS release everything, huh?
Then, when Trump's feds got hold of the files and saw what the truth of it all actually was, Epstein's files were NOT TO BE TRUSTED BECAUSE ITS A DEM HOAX. In fact, no Epstein files exist. No footage of Epstein's cell exists, either (oh wait, yes some footage exists). But, Congress forced the release of Epstein's files, which Trump, his admin, MAGA, and almost the entire GOP fought to prevent. Trump's feds failed to meet the original deadline to release the Epstein files, failed to properly redact information, and failed to explain why they redacted certain information. After that, Trump's admin released another 3 million files, with a total of 5 million Epstein-related files to be released. Millions of files that never existed, and if they did exist were "democrat hoaxes." All while claiming to be "true and honest" and "open and transparent."
Now, MAGA claims Epstein was a nothingburger, "who cares if kids were raped, I hate the RADICAL LIBERALS AND DEMOCRATS MORE THAN CHILD RAPISTS", and we need to all move on because who gives a fuck. Those Antifa, trannies, Mexicans, and Somalis, am I right, fellow

I love how they prop this up as some kind of own. The presidential salary is 400k, the federal government spends 6 million every minute. It's literally 4 seconds' worth of federal spending. They spent that much in the time it took me to type this sentence. Him suing his own government for personal enrichment that far exceeds the salary is rarely discussed though

I doubt we'd be seeing the Epstein files if Harris was in. Trump being president and being involved is one of the biggest reasons they were forced out. Also Kamala and Trump are on the same team. Trump deported less illegals than Obama. Didn't build a wall. Didn't prosecute Clinton when he could and should have, etc.
Trump also banned bump stocks illegally. Which is more than Obama attempted and failed to do against the second amendment. You need to stop watching FOX News as your primary source of information. Not saying Harris was good, but Trump is no better than her and probably a lot worse.

Much of his fortune is tied up in tech ventures that have to be propped up because even just stalling out for too long would have global consequences. Some of his companies are also woven into the national security establishment now and cutting off the flow of easy money from defense contracts would blow them up and cause strategic harm to the United States. There is no way that a culture as obsessed with lines going up as ours is will ever cut him down to size.

I bring up a very real conspiracy of Trump getting too friendly with corporations to build his stupid ballroom (coincidentally he softened his stance on H1Bs afterwards, hmmm) and it gets dismissed as a nothingburger (growing to hate this word).
