The recent community feature submission got me thinking: if Schlep really cared about child victims then they wouldn't make such a big announcement containing a 'warning' saying "Hey pedos, we're going to expand our Internet vigilante operation more and find yall in VRChat now so beware!!!". Literally the most tell-tale sign it's for clout rather than actually being absolutist and doing it out of principle. In my opinion they shouldn't be regarded as "heroes" or have major backing by law firms for using mentally ill people purely for monetary gain and clout. Same reason why I hate Philanthrophy Tubers like MrBeast. It's something done in bad faith disguised as being done in good faith. Also this content is frying our brains with zoomer-editing and sucks.

You know, there are pedo hunters who do what they do with the intention of making money and getting famous, but honestly who gives a shit? If the end result is the same, the intent matters little. There are people that feed the homeless and donate to charity just to boost their ego, but who cares? Not the homeless people getting fed or the charities getting funded.

Yeah pretty much, a lot of people are just deeply angry or sadistic and want to vent that on something socially acceptable. Angry retards love being able to claim self-righteousness.
