Most people think food magically spawns at the grocery store. They don't make connections like that. The people who profit from the pork are a rich connected few. No one else even knows it exists.

Pork these days means huge infrastructure investments, data centers, shit like that. Yes of course people notice when 20,000 new jobs are created.

its kinda like real life how many of the bigwhigs and oligarchs who push this shit engage in domestic labor abuses constantly and overseas utilize sweat shops or borderline to full fledged slave labour

His "district" is the entire state of south carolina....

And yes he does bring pork, I'm sure the SC Republican party does whatever it can to snuff out any up-and-comer Republicans.
