Industrial meat farming is still horrific, even ignoring kosher/halal practices. Stuffed like sardines in pens, and then when it's time to be executed, cows get electrocuted before being stabbed in the heart.

The axis of daily rotation is off-perpendicular from the orbital plane and stays relatively consistent, summer is when either end (north or south) is pointed sunwards and so doesn't rotate fully out of the light every day, while winter is when either end is pointed away from the sun and doesn't rotate fully into the light.

Edit: and the caps stay cold year round because the sunlight has to pass through a thicker cross-section of atmosphere to reach the surface at the edges than it does at the middle. The angle of attack for parallel rays necessarily becomes more extreme as a spherical surface curves away from it - the same phenomenon applied in the east-west direction rather than north-south is also responsible for the sky turning red in the morning and evening.

If you are at any sort of important-enough event in any major metropolitan area, you have inevitably been in the same room (and, probably, photographed with and spoken with) these people. Doesn't suggest endorsement, just suggests proximity. In translation: the presence of a name in those records isn't dispositive of anything, and yet idiots on social media continue to clip FBI records and act as if they are absolute fact because they support their political agenda. What does matter has, whether the Democrats like it or not, already been largely released: flight logs to his private island and other indicia of deeper connections that go beyond being in the same rooms.

Also, NYC is a surprisingly small place when it comes to the social and financial circuit, and especially when you consider that many people have spent their entire adult lives in that region. Everyone more or less knows everyone, especially when you filter by social status and finance. Plus, NYC's elite is weirdly tolerant of difficult people as long as they're important enough and pay for their respective tickets, and there's definitely a tendency to ignore uncomfortable information beyond childish rumor-spreading. Case in point: I know at least 3-4 men in the NYC black tie circuit who openly beat their ex-wives and are still more or less tolerated at cocktail parties because nobody really cares enough (it's hard to not blame this on the feminization of NYC bros in recent years, any polite society would have drowned those guys in the Hudson years ago).
