There is been debates on Xitter about translations.
A lot of people are defending shitty localizations and translations pretty much just because people they don't like are advocating for more true translations.
They common "gotcha" is "just learn Japanese then"

Sorry if it's been posted, but I stumbled across this while looking for official CoTL comic pages.
It's not enough for them to just make a "wolf in sheep's clothing" allusion with the character, it had to get the tit chop.... in a setting/art style where the female animals don't have tits to carve off in the first place.

I like how leftist are trying to "retake" Amelia from Pathways. Ever seen the game blew up a bunch of people have been using her for rightwing memes. A lot of leftist don't like this and now want to reclaim her. I remember back in 2016 when Pepe the Frog was used to push Trump and right wing memes. It lead to a debate on how characters can be used without a creators content especially for politics and how Pepe was being stolen. Yet over the years I've seen a bunch of leftist use characters they don't own to push their own such as fly pride flags or Palestine flags or punch or kill someone they don't like. Yet this one character is used to push ring wing views and it's wrong.
