I know I'm being too generous with this take, but I think half of the men posting takes like this are black and white thinking doomers, whether affected with depression, anxiety, or autism who seriously have no faith or confidence in themselves and are terrified of relationships. By magnifying the bad, they're reassured they don't have to try, that no one needs to actually do it even if they want companionship. Because human relationships are hard and they're terribly painful, and they don't know how to manage it. Those are the type I have pity for and hope that comments like this smack them out of it.
