The people that so desperately want to believe this are on the opposite side of the culture war. Even though it doesn't made sense, it'd take longer than a few hours to open up a board on 4chan. It isn't like anyone can make whatever fucking board they want, it's all made by their moderators and owner.

I just want to chime in here real quick with the Epstein-4chan revelations, that Epstein was just the cleanup guy, and people need to start asking why the Department of Energy was involved with the imageboard community as far back as 2003.

Just for the record for anyone who wasn't there, /new/ was the big news board going back to like, shitposting under Rush Limbaugh videos on early Youtube, and it eventually got nuked earlier in the year from when /pol/ was created. More importantly, the actual archives show the board was first active in November, not sure why it says October 23rd. If that date is accurate though, it would mean moot flew from his meeting with Jeff and made a board overnight.

But I think it's far more likely the board had been in the works since /new/ closed.
