This guy is so retarded it actually hurts my brain to read some of his reviews. Like I would get it if some game is entirely AI and not even touched by a person other than to collect the cash. I've said it so many times at this point but once more can't hurt: AI isn't gonna end the world or whatever these fags think its gonna do. Using it as a tool is fine but that all it should be used for, not to be used as a raw product. I've used AI to help do a lot of things in my personal life and some bits of my professional life. I don't just use it to do all my work for me but to this kind of person, I'm literally Satan for even touching AI.
Imagine if he got some form of "AI Leprosy". :story:

It think it proves my point that there is a pattern on how the tech-illiterate and the hardline luddite will hyperfixate on ChatGPT and thought it's the only LLMs to ever exist, ignoring things like Gemini (which google will gladly shove right into your face if you use its search engine functions) or any other LLMs.

The "shove right into your face" part is not hyperbole btw. I've searched for the "Have you cleansed MAC adress from HDMI ports?!" part on google and out pops the ai overview section that answers "There's no MAC address from HDMI ports dumbass" (paraphrased).

If even Google's AI thing contradicts what your boss had said, you are right in losing all respect to her.
I asked ChatGPT about this and the response was basically, "WTF? No. That's stupid." I think that guy had a hallucination. Same goes for the AI.

You said:

Am I supposed to cleanse the MAC address from my HDMI ports?

ChatGPT said:

😂 okay, no—your HDMI ports are not haunted, surveilling you, or in need of a ritual bath.

Short version: HDMI ports do not have MAC addresses. There is nothing to cleanse, reset, rotate, smudge, or exorcise.
Was excited about summoning Pazazu with an HDMI cable, too. Lame.

God I fucking hate the way ChatGPT speaks. It's like talking to every single redditor ever born at the same time, it's such a specific and annoying style of writing that wouldn't bother me as much if I wasn't forced to keep seeing it. Suck my chode scam altman

Well, when you literally train the LLM to speak by feeding it Reddit posts you get an LLM that outputs Reddit posts.

This is the main reason I switched to Claude a while back. The ChatGPT style is so grating and just keeps getting worse with every update.

Plus the stupidly long-winded answers. "Here's the simple, no-fluff answer you asked for. No sugar coating, straight to the point." Thanks, that could have been implied by you just giving me the answer, retard.

Also I feel like in the 4o era you could reliably customize the style, but now no matter what you tell it, it just veers back to Redditor speak.

Being a CS student is so tiring in the age of AI. Today my uncle had to send me some journo AI panic farming article on "le humanoid AI powered robots" telling me he fears AI deployed in military settings with no morals. I had to tell him if all it had to do was shoot people automatic turrets with classic image segmentation have been a thing for a very long time.

actually while im being an AI Deranged Fag rn:
I really hate like 99% of AI generated videos. I'm autistic enough to where I can tell basically every time, which is probably why I hate it so much. There's a lot of very little things that most services get wrong, either with the physics, how people actually speak, colors, text and details, etc. that it disgusts me for some reason. I have like a hundred reasons to dislike most generative AI content but like, past me being a pretentious cunt, I feel my skin crawl when I look in the background of an AI vid and see the background writhing and moving and shifting like it's alive and trying to undulate back into place.

I'm confident that will be fixed before July this year.

journos are genuinely retarded and spread their retardation to others. there's no solution sadly.

Oh no! The game that never touched AI has done a crossover with a game that did! Good thing this modern day hero called out the ebil nazi devs!!!11!
I love that terraria catches strays for no reason, but the heckin holesum breathtaking 100 Keanu chungus game only gets an informational rating for a worse offense.

None of these are classic problems btw.
Chatgpt really can piss you off sometimes. But its better than going to a fourm and waiting 6 hours... sometimes

Marc J. Schmidt, a veteran programmer known for high-performance TypeScript and machine learning contributions, announced a significant shift from open-source to closed-source development ironically because of LLMs. Everything will be, surprise surprise, behind a paywall that will likely be scraped somehow anyways. The comments rightfully point out how no one goes into OSS for money (duh) even though Mr. Schmidt whines about 'working for free' while corpos take his work (which was happening before AI newsflash). Again, money is the main issue cited against AI. But yeah, totally about the ideology guys!

"This is a classic 8081 embedded microcontroller in a 2009 MIPS processor that is encrypted by 256 military grade encryption using a instruction set that is not documented before. Ive seen this issue 1000s of times"
"Your running into the classic (Exact model number) Microscopic NAND wear issue issue. Such a classic issue"
Those parody results I gave you are not far off from the stuff gpt considers "classic issues"
Let me see if I can get the most absurd issue that it said was "classic"

1769458879984.png
Classic "privilege of escalation chaining" problem

1769459536529.png

The classic issue of reverse engineering televisions to find a TV 1-5 star ratings system in the NAND dump issue(Obviously this is a classic issue that everyone has had before according to chatgpt)
Screenshot From 2026-01-26 15-23-34.png

The classic issue of GCC 2.6 from exactly 2008 not building for MIPS targets due to issues with the build environment.
1769459128900.png
The classic problem of embedded chips from 2008 running mips having Hidden states that need to be accounted for when building GCC 2.8 from 2008(Yes everyone's had this exact problem before and its a "Classic issue")

It will label almost EVERYTHING as a "Classic issue". Ive seen it say "This is a classic NXP PNX8550 emulation issue"(Its referring to a SINGLE family of chips made in 2008 that almost NO ONE knows or has barely documented and is used in only like 10 different scenarios with barely any google results. And no not a single soul has probably even THOUGHT of making it work with emulation software.)
